Romans 13:11-12 - Besides this, you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. 12 The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light
1 Corinthians 13:11– When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child, now that I’ve become a man, I am done with childish things and have put them aside.
Child’s Speech – undeveloped - We need to talk differently.
Watch our words. Speak faith & scripture.
Child’s Thought process – crude - We need to think differently.
What does God say?
Child’s understanding/reasoning – incomplete - We need to understand differently.
How does God see it?
We need to put away childish ways.
There are things we need to stop doing—time to mature.
Ephesians 4:12-14 - to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.
I should be further along than I am right now!!!
The time to get the house ready for a baby is not when the baby comes. We get ready for the baby months before it comes.
Are we ready for those who are coming to be discipled? Are the ministries ready?
We can’t expect things to just happen and change.

The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. Vs. 15 The Lord said to Moses-Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites (my people) to MOVE ON. Then God parted the Red Sea and they walked across on dry ground!

Why don’t we change?
We don’t change because there is always resistance.
Change is hard!
We don’t see the need.
Change is torture!
What is my motivation to change and to grow, to take action??
What is MY WHY?
Will there be people not in heaven because we didn’t do what we should have done
