This is a somber day in our nation and particularly our region. Today is the 21st anniversary of the attack on America by international terrorist. And today is only 3 days removed from an attack on the Mid-South by a home-grown terrorist. We are still amid a Covid pandemic and add to that, monkey pox. There is much that can make a person anxious or even doubt the presence of God if we only look at our situation. But in the midst of calamity, we must look outside of the calamity for objectivity.

Like a ship that has lost its moorings, we as a society are being tossed to and fro. Bewildered from stress and anxiety we tend to make poor decisions to our own harm. What we need is certainty and clarity for daily living. What we need is Purpose.
