How To Use The App:
The Home Icon is where our church website lives.
By clicking this icon, you'll be able to Give Online, access Kids Church Online, learn about Our Beliefs, and more!
The next icon is the Messages Icon.
You will find all church-wide direct messages and announcements from leaders here. Ministries can also communicate with their group members by creating a chat.
The NCA Social Group Icon.
Click this icon to post messages for the entire church. It's like our own version of Facebook. You can post praise reports, announcements, prayer requests, words of encouragement, or items for donation/sale.
The Sermons Icon.
This is where you will find our weekly sermon uploads. Sermons from Sunday are uploaded every Tuesday.
The Settings Icon.
By clicking the settings icon, you'll be able to view all of the Groups you are a part of, access the Church Calendar, view the Church Directory & customize your Profile Settings.
Customizing Your App Profile:
Just like any other social media platform, you will be able to customize your app profile within the NCA Faithlife group. You can choose which information you want to make visible in the Church Directory.
If you decide to not share any of your information in the church directory, we ask that you please make each category visible to the Church Admins in case we need to contact you for any reason. Church Admins consist of only the church leadership.
Follow the steps below to customize your profile:
Step 1
Open up the Faithlife App and tap the icon with the 3 lines at the bottom right corner. Once you've opened up the page, tap the "Settings" button.
Step 2
Once the settings page opens up, take a look at the Church Tab section & make sure the church is listed as "Northside Christian Assembly" and the website is listed as "http://ncamadison.com". If the information is correct leave it as is.
If the information is incorrect, click on it and search for the correct group.
Step 3
Once you've checked that the Church Tab information is correct, Tap on the "Account Preferences" tab.
Step 4
Once you've opened up Account Preferences, your Faithlife Profile will open up. You'll have the option to add a Profile Photo, Change your Display Name, Add a Bio & fill out the rest of your profile.
The information on your profile is what will be visible to the group on the Directory.
Again, You can choose which information you want to make visible.
If you decide to not share any of your information in the church directory, we ask that you still fill out the profile and make each category visible to the Church Admins in case we need to contact you for any reason. Church Admins consist of only the Church Leadership.
Step 5
As you scroll down to each section, you can select who can see each field.
Select " Me" if you want the field to be completely private.
Select "Group Admins" if you want the field to be visible to strictly Church Leaders.
Select "Everyone" if you want the field to be visible to everyone in the Church Directory.
**We recommend that you set each field to "Group Admins". **
To receive church-wide text updates please enter your phone number.
