    Hope Brings light into Dark Places

    Isaiah 9:2 ESV
    2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.

    Darkness can never defeat the Light

    Light doesn’t argue with darkness; it simply overpowers it

    God Keeps His promises, even when we have to wait

    Isaiah 9:6–7 ESV
    6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.

    Every promise that God made was fulfilled in Jesus

    Hope for every circumstance is found in the names of the Messiah

    Wonderful Counselor: Hope for those who need wisdom

    Mighty God: Hope for those who feel powerless

    Everlasting Father: Hope for the forgotten or fatherless

    Prince of Peace: Hope for the anxious and overwhelmed

    Everything you need is found in Jesus

    Jesus brings PEACE to a troubled world

    27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

    Peace is a Person, not a feeling

    Jesus gives peace that anchors our soul

    7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
