    Forget the Former Things

    18 “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.

    Not about erasing memory, its about releasing control…

    You cannot faithfully follow God into a New Year while holding tightly to the old one

    Focus on God’s Fresh Work

    Isaiah 43:19 ESV
    19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

    Do you not see it?

    Spiritual growth requires SPIRITUAL ATTENTION

    You cannot faithfully focus on God in a New Year while still focusing on your “same ole distractions”

    Follow Where God Makes a Way

    God doesn’t promise comfort, He promises direction

    Following God means trusting Him in unfamiliar territory
