  • Grace Gives Another Chance

We are given another chance in life not because we deserve it, but because grace positions us, protects us, pleads for us, and perfects us

    GRACE POSITIONS US

    Luke 13:6 ESV
6 And he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.

Grace Places us where GROWTH is possible

Where you are is not accidental, its appointed

The tree did not plant itself...
The vineyard represented care, covering and calling

Being positioned by grace comes with PURPOSE

    Placement reveals intention...

    GRACE PROTECTS US

    Luke 13:7 ESV
7 And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down. Why should it use up the ground?’

Grace stands between us and what justice demands

    The owner’s judgement was fair...

    Grace delays destruction

    Grace gives us a chance...

    Delay is mercy, not approval...

    GRACE PLEADS FOR US

    Luke 13:8 ESV
8 And he answered him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and put on manure.

Jesus personally intercedes to give us another chance

The vinedresser speaks when the tree cannot...
    Intercession reveals compassion...

You are still here because GRACE spoke up

Grace asked for more time on your behalf...

    GRACE PERFECTS US

    Luke 13:8–9 ESV
8 And he answered him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and put on manure. 9 Then if it should bear fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.’ ”

Grace works on us until God’s purpose is fulfilled

Grace doesn’t just spare us, it shapes us

    Philippians 1:6 ESV
6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Grace doesn’t just give another chance, it develops another outcome

What will you do with this GRACE?
