Ephesians 6:10–15 NKJV 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;Introduction:We are in a war. If we are going to fight this war properly, we must take time to see the mindset of the enemy. We are in a spiritual war. A war that satan has lost. However, he wishes to do as much damage on the way out!A. The enemy has an expected end. Revelation 20:10Revelation 20:10 NKJV 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.We are real people serving a real God and fighting areal devil. And although he knows he is defeated he has no intention of being tormented along.B. The enemy is desperateRevelation 12:10–12 NKJV 10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”This important for us to know because there is nothing more dangerous than a desperate enemy. The powers of darkness do not lessen the closer we get to the coming of our Lord. They INTENSIFY. Well if He knows he lost, What’s the end game? He wants to take as many souls with him as possible.Paul tells us that as soldiers of the Kingdom. We should be fighting vehemently against this attack. HELL AND DEATH IS THE SYMPTOM OF SIN BUT THE GOSPEL HOLDS THE ANTDDOTE.POWER PRINCIPLE:Hell and death are the symptoms of sin; but the gospel is the antidote.I. I’m Preparing to Share the gospelPaul tells us that we should have. “Feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace". This tells us that we must always be prepared to share the Gospel Message.Being able to share the gospel is Essential not optional to the believer. This message lets everyone possible know that you don’t have to remain on the loosing side! That the blood of Jesus has given you access to victory!Strong’s LexiconOriginal Word: ὑποδέω Part of Speech: Verb Transliteration: hupodeó Pronunciation: hoo-pod-eh'-o Phonetic Spelling: (hoop-od-eh'-o) Definition: To bind under, to put on (as in sandals) Meaning: (lit: I bind under), mid: I put on my feet, pass: I am shod.Strongs’s LexiconOriginal Word: ἑτοιμασία Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine Transliteration: hetoimasia Pronunciation: he-toy-mas-ee'-ah Phonetic Spelling: (het-oy-mas-ee'-ah) Definition: Preparation, readiness Meaning: foundation, firm footing; preparation, readiness. This word indicates a state of preparedness of readiness. I’m Changed through Power of the gospelA. What is the Gospel?Strong's Lexiconeuaggelion: Gospel, Good NewsOriginal Word: εὐαγγέλιον Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter Transliteration: euaggelion Pronunciation: yoo-ang-GHEL-ee-on Phonetic Spelling: (yoo-ang-ghel'-ee-on) Definition: Gospel, Good News Meaning: the good news of the coming of the Messiah, the gospel; the gen. after it expresses sometimes the giver (God), sometimes the subject (the Messiah, etc.), sometimes the human transmitter (an apostle).Word Origin: Derived from the Greek words εὖ (eu, meaning "good" or "well") and ἄγγελος (angelos, meaning "messenger" or "message").Corresponding Greek / Hebrew Entries: While there is no direct Hebrew equivalent for "euaggelion," the concept of good news can be related to the Hebrew word בְּשׂוֹרָה (besorah), which also means "good news" or "tidings."Usage: The term "euaggelion" primarily refers to the "good news" or "gospel" of Jesus Christ. It encompasses the message of salvation, the kingdom of God, and the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. In the New Testament, it is used to describe the proclamation of God's redemptive plan through Christ, offering forgiveness and eternal life to all who believe.Romans 1:16 NKJV 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power (dunamis)of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.A. Message of SalvationB. The message of the KingdomC. The message that all the things are possible because of the death burial, and resurrection of Jesus.D. The example of Living from the life of ChristWe have a revolutionary and transformative message. That God has come to earth in the person of his son and established a new covenant of peace. That ends the war between us and God. The only condition is that we receive that message through repentance and faith.Dunamis indicates a transformative power. We get our word dynamite from it. It is impossible to truly come in contact with God and receive the gospel and there be No transformation in our lives. All of our lives we will increase in spiritual formation and sanctification. But where the gospel has truly taken root there will be change!Proverbs 11:30 NKJV 30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.Feet indicate walking.Walking. Biblically walking indicates the abiding or the way we live every day. (Psalm 1:1). We should live in such a way that our lives exemplify a soul winner! Our lives should be devoted to spreading peace throughout the world. Not the peace of man. But the peace of God!John 14:27 NKJV 27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.Romans 5:1 NKJV 1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,I can be in the middle of a war and not have strength enough to fight. But if I have peace with a larger power, I know I may get some scrapes, I may get some cuts and bruise but i don’t worry. Because, I know I may loose a skirmish here or there. But I’m going to win the war because I have the alliance of a stronger power. The gospel gives you peace with God. Therefore, you have an inner peace knowing that the battle is already won!So if the enemy brings sickness. The battle is already won! (Matthew 10:28)If the enemy brings stressThe battle is already won! (Psalm 30:5)If the enemy bring anxiety and fearThe battle is already won! (Psalm 23:4)HALLELUJAH!!Matthew 10:28 NKJV 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.Psalm 30:5 NKJV 5 For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.Psalm 23:4 NKJV 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.III. I’m Promoting the Gospel1 Corinthians 9:16 NKJV 16 For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel! We should realize that our primary goal as a believer is the share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who are perishing. We are the transporters of peace. We have been assigned to a peace-making missions in the the middle of a dangerous spiritual war.Key points about this phrase:(Isaiah 52:7, Romans 10:15)Romans 10:15 NKJV 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”Conclusion:So because of that fact of the importance of the item we carry. I pray our burden to share the gospel catches us on fire do much that we a consumed with it!1 Corinthians 2:1–2 NKJV 1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
