    Happy New Year everyone! It’s Sack Lunch Sunday today so don’t feel rushed but grab your leftovers from New Year’s and join us about 30 minutes after service. So thankful all of you! 2025 went by so fast!
    If you’re new or visiting, normally we teach through each book of the bible chapter by chapter, verse by verse but at the beginning of a new year we usually take time to do a prophecy update.
    However, I want to discuss things that go beyond the headlines of last year and talk about our future home. Now, to prepare you, I will be citing several scriptures on screen so write them down for personal study. In Matthew it’s called the kingdom of Heaven, in the other gospels the Kingdom of God. Jesus shared about 14 parables about this future kingdom and what it will be like. He told His followers in Mark 4.11
    Mark 4:11 LSB
    “To you has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God, but to those who are outside, everything comes in parables....
    So last week we saw the mention of a Millennial kingdom in Revelation 20 or 1000 years.
    But the question was why?
    Mainly, where God will fulfill His promises to Israel. And that their Messiah [Jesus] will govern the world from Jerusalem. Doing what?
    Isaiah 2:4 LSB
    And He will judge between the nations, and will render decisions for many peoples; And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, and never again will they learn war.
    The Lord Himself will settle international disputes, nations will disarm, war will become obsolete and people will no longer learn warfare until Rev 20:8-9 when Satan is released one last time at the end of the Millennium to deceive the nations and gather them together for war against us, they will surround the camp of the saints [it won’t be known as the camp of Israel] and the beloved city, [Jerusalem - and God will pull an Indian Jones on them] as fire will come down from heaven and devour all of them. We will probably see this! But let’s back up now.
    But I want to take up where we left off for review:
    Daniel 12:11–12 LSB
    “But from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. “How blessed is he who keeps waiting and reaches the 1,335 days!
    Again, the bible gives us common sense and Jesus cited this passage so Jews could escape the deception. During the tribulation, the temple in Jerusalem will be built and animal sacrifices will recommence. But this one world dictator and false prophet will show so much kindness to Israel but their world will be as reliable as the Learing centers in Minnesota.
    2 Thessalonians 2:3–4 LSB
    Let no one in any way deceive you, for it has not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the sanctuary of God, exhibiting himself as being God.
    This is the abomination of desolation.
    This reconstructed Temple will be defiled just as Antiochus Epiphanes did in 167 BC by stopping the daily sacrifices and setting up the pagan altar. But this can’t be the same event Daniel wrote about because Jesus warned Peter, James and John 200 years later stating “when you see the AOD, as spoken by Daniel the prophet run for the hills”. This event is still in the future and the warning was to Israel, not the church because it didn’t exist yet. Jesus told them to run for the mountains of Judea because when the Jews reject this man of sin, he will turn on the nation.
    As Israel is on he brink of annihilation One‑third will calls on the Lord and survive, refined, tested, and God will say: “They are My people,” and they will say, “The Lord is my God.”
    Zechariah 12:8–9 LSB
    “In that day Yahweh will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the one who stumbles among them in that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of Yahweh before them. “And it will be in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
    So a third of Israel will be protected by God but they will need to hide until Yeshua returns with His saints. His feet will then stand on the Mt of Olives just as the Angel told His disciples in
    Acts 1:11 LSB
    They also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking toward heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”
    Then Zechariah parallels with Rev 19
    Zechariah 14:3–4 LSB
    Then Yahweh will go forth and fight against those nations, as the day when He fights on a day of battle. And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south.
    The moment Jesus returns on the Mt of Olives, a massive earthquake splits the mount sending water under the temple mount down to the dead sea eventually turning that desert into a beautiful garden over time.
    We will be there to witness this event and probably be assigned to do something as the genuine one world government is launched. All Satan could ever do is imitate God. He’s artificial intelligence!
    Isaiah 9:6 LSB
    For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
    So “Govern” = to rule or control a country, group, or nation with authority, making laws and directing public affairs. So somehow we will help to control and direct the mortal people on earth during this transition. This is why Paul says in 1 Cor 6.2-3
    1 Corinthians 6:2–3 LSB
    Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? ... Do you not know that we will judge angels?
    Many Christians are oblivious of this future reality!! But what we do will depend on what we’re doing now which is why Paul said
    2 Corinthians 5:9–10 LSB
    Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
    So yes we are saved by grace through faith but God has created good works that he has prepared for us beforehand. Thus, it matters what we do in this life!
    So what will the order of these 75 days look like? According to Dr. Fruchtenbaum and Bill Salus the order is as follows so jot these down.
    THE REMOVAL OF THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION - According to Daniel 12:11 The desecration of the Temple is allowed to remain the thirty days beyond the end of the Tribulation. But scripture doesn’t tell us why. This third Temple was never sanctioned by God anyway-In fact, this Temple will ultimately be destroyed, because this will not be the Temple of the Kingdom.
    2. THE ANTICHRIST and THE FALSE PROPHET - Ok, keep in mind these are “the counterfeit” of Messiah and because of their deceptions they are cast both alive into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone.
    There is a prophecy concerning the body of the Antichrist that he will never see burial.
    Isaiah 14:20 LSB
    “You will not be united with them in burial, Because you have ruined your country, You have killed your people. May the seed of evildoers not be called upon forever.
    Like the first resurrection, the second resurrection has stages too. The false prophet with “the counterfeit holy spirit” who unleashed fake miracles to deceive and called men to worship the Antichrist, to take the mark of the beast, and worship his image will join him in the lake of fire.
    2 Thessalonians 2:8–9 declare that the Antichrist will be slain by the breath of Christ’s mouth upon His return which seems to contradict Rev 19:20 so this verse in 2 Thess 2 requires that the Antichrist and be resurrected at this time and for the first thousand years the Lake of Fire is inhabited, the Antichrist and the false prophet will be there all by themselves.
    3. THE FIFTH ABODE OF SATAN
    Once God’s right hand angel, Lucifer who wanted to be like God will face his final fate. He was an Anointed Cherub, positioned at God’s throne, radiant, wise and perfect until pride corrupted him. It’s kind of sad really. But like man, God gave His holy angels choice to serve and do what they were created for. Love is a choice!
    It’s amazing and mysterious why God permitted Lucifer to have seven abodes.
    The First and second Abodes: The Throne of God and the Garden of Eden. Ezekiel 28:12-13
    He was an amazing creature covered in nine rubies and had pipes in his body to create music!
    The Third Abode: is the Heavenly places - where he is presently.
    The Fourth Abode: The Earth – (Rev. 12:7-12). this will happen at the midpoint of the Trib-period. Only place that mentions Satan cast to earth with a third of the angels.
    The Fifth Abode: Thrown into the Abyss for 1000 years.
    The Sixth Abode: Back on Earth - at the end of the thousand years he is let loose to deceive the nations.
    The Seventh Abode: The Lake of Fire – His final destination, he will join the beast and false prophet and welcome in all the unbelievers who will be judged at the white throne judgment/ the second death.
    4. THE JUDGMENT OF THE GENTILES - this is the one I want to really focus on - Turn to Matthew 25
    Joel 3 prophesied about the war at Armageddon when these Gentile nations at the end of the tribulation gather to destroy Israel and await Yeshua, His angels and His bride. Let me read a portion for Joel 3:2
    Joel 3:2 LSB
    I will gather all the nations And bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; And they have divided up My land.
    This judgment is going to be a blood bath because these were the the enemies of Israel who cried “from the river to the sea.” and attempted to “divide the land”.
    But secondly, the proper meaning of the sheep and the goats parable - so often I’ve heard this parable applied to church ministries but to be honest it will have nothing to do with us!! Let’s look at verse 31
    Matthew 25:31–32 LSB
    “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. “And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;
    Matthew 25:33–34 LSB
    and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left. “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom, which has been prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
    Matthew 25:35–36 LSB
    ‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’
    So these are the Gentiles who were saved during the tribulation and risked their lives to protect the Jewish people. Like Schindler's list. But these fairly new believers are going to be curious asking
    Matthew 25:37–40 LSB
    ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? ‘And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? ‘And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ “And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, [Jews] even the least of them, you did it to Me.’
    These are Pro-Semitic Sheep who survived the tribulation and stand before Yeshua. But then he looks at the Anti-Semitic Goats with disdain...
    Matthew 25:41–43 LSB
    “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’
    This will be the “river to the sea” crowd, the pro Hamas groups and radical Islamic groups
    Matthew 25:44–46 LSB
    “Then they themselves also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ “Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ “And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
    So those Gentiles/ or sheep who were at His right hand will inherit the kingdom because they believed in Him and stood for His chosen people!
    But the Gentiles/or goats on His left who did not protect the Jews in the tribulation proved they were not truly saved but thought they were since they survived the tribulation and probably held to antisemitic religious groups and a false god.
    After this Judgment is when THE FIRST RESURRECTION begins - THE OLD TESTAMENT and TRIBULATION SAINTS are raised - Keep in mind, the souls of these Saints are in heaven but this is when they get their glorified bodies. The church is in a different category. We are the “body of Christ” - These Saints will not be consider “the church”.
    But that’s when we all gather to enjoy the marriage supper of the lamb. Rev 19.9
    Revelation 19:9 LSB
    “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’” And he said to me, “These are true words of God.”
    It’s an invitation and believe me, we’re all going to be excited to attend!!
    So the 75 day Interval.
    So all this takes place before the Millennial kingdom begins!!! -

    Next week we’re going to learn that while the earth will be peaceful, it will not be perfect.
    Demons will be incarcerated in surprising regions on the earth and these areas will be off limits for any human. What does it say about angels and what they will be doing?
    Mortal humans will still have a sin nature that will have to be dealt with. So a whole new level will be created for the glorified Saints!!
    Perhaps we will be assigned to watch over a group or region of people to settle issues that will need attention. Some will be judges, teachers, perhaps musicians will offer worship services, but it’s going to be fascinating! Just be ready to jot down these verses dispersed in the prophets so you can study them for yourselves.
    Now remember, all of this is because of our hero, Jesus as we have communion together to remember His death till He comes.
