  • Law of Sin and Death

    John 8:3–11 NKJV
3 Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, 4 they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” 6 This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. 7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” 8 And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”
    Romans 7:7 NKJV
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
The Law is not just there to make us sin, it is there to Show us what is Sin.
Without the Law of God, we do not know Sin.
    Covet
    Brother
    Eat human flesh.
    Eat Carnivores?
But, there was another Law in that Time. A law added by Man that kept us slaves.
    Romans 7:21–25 NKJV
21 I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. 22 For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
Get rid of this second law of your members.
    Get rid of this Legalism.
Your body wants to follow this second law.
Come back to the original, Law of God, not the Law of Your members.
But, even in this Original law there is Death.
    Romans 4:15 NKJV
15 because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression.
    Adultery, Idolatry, Blasphemy, Die,
want to be clean, sacrifice a bull, lamb, a bird
The law tells us what the sin is and also what the Fine is if you are guilty. You need to pay with Blood to be cleansed from the blame. It is important to know the law,
Blood and Cleanliness are Linked, like the First Plague and last plague. Water for washing turns to be Blood, Because the Blood of the Lamb washes allows death to passover us coz it cleanses us from Sin. .
    But, Enter Jesus.
    Hebrews 10:10–14 NKJV
10 By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. 14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Jesus is our Sacrifice, once and for all.
    But, there is a warning.
    Matthew 6:14–15 NKJV
14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
If you want this forgiveness, you must forgive. If you are relying on the the penality in the Law for Forgiveness of others, you will have to rely on the same. If the Law says a person must die, and you insist on it, do not come to Jesus when you Sin.
Do not judge according to the law, unless you want to be judged according to the Law. Judge according to the forgivenesss of Jesus, so that you are judged according to his forgiveness.
