MEFC Connections

On Sunday, May 22, at 12:15 we will serve lunch for anyone involved in an Iron Man or Iron Woman team, or who is interested in being on a team. We will share some ideas for how to keep your teams strong and effective. If you want to attend, please RSVP to the office by Monday, May 16. The first 15 to RSVP will receive a gift that is also an excellent resource!

Thursday, May 5th is the US National Day of Prayer. An open house from 7am to 7pm at the Exchange Bank is a hosted opportunity to join with others in small group prayer, or to individually take time to seek God, His wisdom, guidance and healing for the United States of America. Written prayer guides will be available. Plan now to set aside some intentional time for prayer on May 5th.

It's FUN RUN time again!!! Please, check out this link and register for our Zambian Mission Project Fun Run scheduled for June 4th. We are called to pray for each other daily, and MEFC provides opportunities to help you keep yourself organized and accountable! Pick up a physical Daily Prayer Guide from the pamphlet display in the foyer. Praying for one another is a priceless gift!

The MEFC office will be open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9am-11am. If you must contact Megan outside of these hours, please call or text only from 8am-5pm to respect her family time. You may also email or leave a message on the church machine at any time!

Please remember to check in with the office when planning for groups to meet in the church building so we can put you on the calendar. We have had several instances recently where more than one group planned to use the same room. We want to accommodate everyone as best we may, but planning ahead is key!

The Minden Little Free Pantry is located on the east side of the old IGA parking lot on N. Nebraska Avenue. Nonperishable food items, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, and pet food are available to those in need 24 hours a day. If you have a need, please stop by and help yourself. Likewise, if you are able to help keep the pantry stocked by donating items, please also do so!
