Isaiah 9:6–7 (LEB)
For a child has been born for us;
a son has been given to us.
And the dominion will be on his shoulder,
and his name is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
His dominion will grow continually,
and to peace there will be no end
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and sustain it
with justice and righteousness
now and forever.
The zeal of Yahweh of hosts will do this.

HOW IS JESUS OUR PEACE?

I. BECAUSE OF JESUS, WE HAVE PEACE WITHIN OURSELVES

Philippians 4:7 (ESV)
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
II. BECAUSE OF JESUS, WE HAVE PEACE WITH EACH OTHER
Ephesians 2:15 (LEB)
invalidating the law of commandments in ordinances, in order that he might create the two in himself into one new man, thus making peace,
III. BECAUSE OF JESUS, WE HAVE PEACE WITH GOD
Romans 5:1 (ESV)
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
