Biblical Worship-Covenant Dialogue

Psalm 95

Theme:

Biblical Worship is a Covenant Dialogue between God and His people.

We see this fact in …

  1. Definition of Covenant Dialogue
  2. The Worship of the Past
  3. The Worship of the Present
  4. The Worship of the Future

For Comfort and Healing

The Family of Mrs. Virginia Hoeflinger, wife of one of our former pastors, who died this week. She was buried in our cemetery with only a handful of family able to be present, due to the health crisis. Please pray for them all to be comforted with the Christian’s hope in Christ of the resurrection of our body.

Continue in prayer for Ann Luckow, Larry Sonnenburg, and Lorraine Thone.

Pray for Pat Pankratz’ brother, Dan, who is facing kidney dialysis every few days for the foreseeable future.

For Wisdom

Clara Sorensen and Emily Stock, who finish up their Confirmation Class studies.

NOTE: Their confirmation exam will be this Saturday, 10 a.m. It will be publicly available on the Zoom videoconference link we are using for worship. Please join us remotely.

For our President, Governor, and all the other government and health leaders who will be making decisions and policies in the coming days and weeks. May God grant them "the wisdom of Solomon" to discern what is best.

For Patience

For all of us across the world, dealing with the disruption of our work, school, recreation, and daily lives. May we USE this time to grow in our discipleship as followers of Jesus, bearing fruit of the Spirit, shining the light of the World to our culture as it sits in darkness.
