As we continue to learn how to seek the Lord with our whole heart, we do so with GOD’s purpose for us in mind. Our Creator has created us to be those who plant, water, and harvest. This is what we pray as we learn to live into GOD’s design for our lives.

CREATOR GOD, teach us how to be seed planters. Teach us YOUR design for St. John UMC as a community of planters. Please, LORD, teach us most effective means of planting seeds of the good news of Your Son, Jesus Christ . . . show us our field.

JESUS, would You show us how to water new and established growth alike, teaching us how to teach, encourage, and challenge each other to become FULLY developed followers of Christ?

HOLY SPIRIT, would You continue to teach us how to be fruit-bearers, and would You teach us how to help cultivate other fruit-bearers so that both the harvest as well as the workers of the harvest would be plentiful
