Faith in Action: If you are able, please donate school supplies for those in need. You can even add some of these items to an online order if you are not going shopping in stores. Drop off glue sticks, pencils, pink erasers, 24 pack crayons, colored pencils, pens or lined paper at the church on Wednesdays between 5:30 and 6:30 to be given out to children who are doing school at home or going to school in person.

Those in need: Please let us know if we can help with back to school. We can either get a backpack to you if are returning to school in person and are in need of one (limited quantity available) OR just provide some basic school supplies. Stella Slatton created beautiful St. John Swans to raise money for our Wednesday night meal program, as well as our virtual food vouchers for the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. If you would like to have some St. John Swans, you can donate online or contact Kristen Blackburn and she can get some to you safely. Stella is selling them 4 for a $1.00 or a donation of your choosing and will donate all the money to the St. John food ministry. Way to go Stella!!

We have created a Facebook page to assist families with sharing what they have already with those who need it. If you have clothes or uniforms that your kids have outgrown OR an overabundance of school supplies you would like to share, go on the Facebook page (Families Helping Families - Chattanooga Area) and post it and look for a safe spot to do your swapping. We are providing a safe spot at St. John. We are partnering with other churches and will be adding some other locations as we hear about them.
