Veterans Day Service
** VETERANS DAY PROGRAM NOVEMBER 10 – CLS will host its annual Veteran’s Day program at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10 in the church sanctuary. This program is always an annual highlight to the Norfolk community and the public is welcome to attend! The program will include K-8 vocal music, the Junior High Tiger band, and essays being read by several CLS students on various topics relating to veterans. Don’t miss this excellent tribute to our brave veterans!
Uniting To Grow
Our Uniting to Grow Capital Campaign is going very well. Our campaign total is more than $3.4 million. Even at that, a relatively small percentage of our community have made their pledge to the campaign. Our goal is to have every member of our church and school community participate in this important effort. Your pledges, large and small, will enable us to reach our goal.
Are my gifts to the Lord – of my resources, of my time, of myself – sacrificial? We are on this journey together as one community in support of Christ Lutheran School. Over the next few weeks, we ask that you continue to be receptive to our parish representatives to discuss the campaign, have your questions answered and make a pledge to the campaign.
Thank you to everyone who has made their pledge thus far.
Long Distance Relatives
Do Grandma and Grandpa live in another town but still want to support their grandchildren with educational opportunities? Forward their name and address to the Church Office and we will be glad to share more information with them about the Uniting to Grow Capital Campaign and how they can become involved even with miles of separation in between. Aunts, uncles and other family members could be welcome recipients of this information and joyful supporters of this community project to share Christian education for years to come.
