All this being said, this section ultimately serves as a summary of all that has been said so far as a celebration of what we have in Christ. Everything in this passage is applied to all believers and there is even overlap within the text. We are going to look at these ideas individually rather than by stated audience

This passage tells us that believers not only are reconciled to God but know Him
We know him in two ways
As the One who is from the beginning. (less personal- who He is)
As the One who is now our Father. (more personal- how He is)
