News, Notes, and Everything YOU Need to Know !
Welcome to the third edition of our new weekly newsletter: News, Notes and Everything YOU Need to Know!
Each Monday, we will publish a newsletter full of announcements, memos, service opportunities, and news from our FUMC family.
Do you have any family news you'd like to share? Graduations? Births? Special Events? Send it to Susan Gibbins-Davis at email@example.com, and you'll see it in print!
Does your life group, Sunday School class, or committee have any news? Please let us know!
Check back each Monday for News, Notes and Everything YOU Need to Know; each Wednesday for Prayer and Praise; and each Friday for Traces of Grace.
Join in the fun as we collect food for our friends at the food pantry at St. Paul's Lutheran Church!
Please bring any type of pasta, jelly, and canned chicken or beef broth. These are the food items that are currently in need. (No pasta sauce is needed at this time.)
Please note that the hotdog dinner has been cancelled.

FUMC Pixies Are On the Move!
Some time between tomorrow and next Monday, you should be receiving a visit from one of our congregation members delivering a special treat just for you! At this time, we will be checking on the accuracy of our FUMC Directory by asking you to confirm your phone numbers and email address that we have currently.
Thank you to all who are participating in this month's FUMC Cares event!
Have You Gotten Your Snapple?
As you probably know by now, the missions trip to Mexico this summer has been postponed. Not canceled, simply postponed to the summer of 2021.
That gives us a great opportunity to begin early to raise the needed funds. Hence, the Snapple!
Please take a bottle of Snapple when you happen to be at church and then, after it's been enjoyed and the bottle washed, fill it with coins and bring it back. This money will be kept and used to send our youth and others to Maneadero, Mexico next summer.
Thank you!! Enjoy your Snapple!!
We Still Need You!
The FUMC Cares team is looking for new members. The FUMC Cares team meets via ZOOM two or three times a month at 10:00am, Monday mornings. We coordinate the sending of greeting cards and the monthly goodie visits to each congregation member. We would love you to join us with your ideas of ways we can care for our congregation members. Please email Pastor Matt (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Susan Gibbins-Davis (email@example.com) if you would like to join!
The FUMC Shares With Upper Darby team is looking for volunteers to help with our food collections and deliveries to Upper Darby once or twice a month. If you are young, strong, and have a giving heart, we need you! Please contact Pastor Matt or Susan Gibbins-Davis if you're interested in knowing more!
"So, let's not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don't give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith." Galatians 6:9-10
Something to Ponder
We forget all too soon the things we thought we could never forget. --writer Joan Didion
Let's not forget! Stay safe from Covid-19. Work to end racism.
