    Introduction
    many will think about the mistakes they have made. with all things in life, there is a time for reflection, today is not the day for that. Today is a day to celebrate the successes that you have had.
    Today is the day that we look at fatherhood.
    Psalm 127:3–5 NKJV
    3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. 5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.

    1. Children are your legacy.

    3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward.
    as we will talk about they are a legacy.
    they are a reward from the Lord.
    Children are a blessing.
    Psalm 127:4 NKJV
    4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.
    Proverbs 22:6 NKJV
    6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
    one of the great things (and most difficult) that parents can do is discern the gifting and calling of the the children born to them.
    In order for an arrow to fly and hit its mark it must be put in the bow and pulled back.
    in this way dads discipline and empower, not because they are trying to get their ways. rather, they are trying to make sure that their Children ready for the world it is walking into.

    2. We the opportunity to bless and affirm our children.

    16 Then they journeyed from Bethel. And when there was but a little distance to go to Ephrath, Rachel labored in childbirth, and she had hard labor. 17 Now it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said to her, “Do not fear; you will have this son also.” 18 And so it was, as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name Ben-Oni; but his father called him Benjamin. 19 So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem).
    Ben-Oni Son of my sorrow.
    Benjamin Son of my right hand or my strength.

    3. The need for fathers.
