    Praise God
They said the saying for 2020 comes from this
    Screaming video

    Scream within your hearts

    2020 outrage
learned Karen was some kind of person who goes around shaming and bossing people around? But I know Karen to be an amazing and kind person who made this year and most years incredible to be
2020 is also the year that began under horrible circumstances with Eddie’s passing,
    Kevin White
2020 is the year we were forced by order to worship online
2020 is the first year, the person in charge of setting up all major events at the Stockton Arena and Banner Island Ballpark was able to help us set up and worship with us
You see there is a couple of verses in the Biblical story of Christmas, the story that gives the true meaning of Christmas, and in these verses is a powerful, powerful statement.
Let’s remember, a new born child is laid in a manager, surrounded by farm animals, where the woman likely gave birth. Incredibly horrific place to give birth.
He’s supposed to be the Savior of all mankind, God himself, and at his birth his parents are basically homeless
Then a bunch of working guys come in, out from the fields to worship him, with stories of worshipping angles.
The only way they could find him was because he was in a manger.
What was the greatest hardship has become a great glory.
    Here comes the verse
    Luke 2:19 CSB
19 But Mary was treasuring up all these things in her heart and meditating on them.
According to tradition and good scholarly research it is believed Mary, told the story to Luke ...
Brain remembers important things especially when they involve pain.
I can remember the hardship of being told to go on unemployment, fear of not being able to go on my vacation, frustration of living at the beginning of a lock down and not knowing if any toilet paper would be their for me when the need came up.
I am sure you remember that and the many other hardships that I can list.
In the Bible one follower of Christ showed us the way , like Mary of building treasurers in our hearts instead of screams.
    Romans 5:2 CSB
2 We have also obtained access through him by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we boast in the hope of the glory of God.
`He is Jesus, and that baby became the man ...
It is through his Grace, his wonderful give of the cross and resurrection that gives us hope.
For the writer who lived this hope, he could boast. That means He could share, and not just share but share how proudly it is to own this gift, like the gift you got on Christmas.
    I’ll show you someone proud
My daughter was putting out this bike, so proud she just through her new helmet on and took off.
    ...
The biblical writer boasts like in the hope in God but there were part is when ...
    Romans 5:3 CSB
3 And not only that, but we also boast in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance,
-In the afflictions, in the hardships, as a Christian still boasting in the good grace of the Lord, telling the stories of the greatness of God.
    Romans 5:3–5 CSB
3 And not only that, but we also boast in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, 4 endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. 5 This hope will not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
We can boast in this affliction because it is in these horrible afflictions we see the Hope of God.
Mary didn’t treasure the misery of giving birth in a stable
She treasured the praise of the worshippers of the baby.
The shepherds had to tell the story, Mary told the story
But what was true for Mary is still true for us today. God is still at work in our hardships.
However it takes purpose, focus, and determination to repeat the hope and not the hardship.
    Psalm 145:3–7 CSB
3 The Lord is great and is highly praised; his greatness is unsearchable. 4 One generation will declare your works to the next and will proclaim your mighty acts. 5 I will speak of your splendor and glorious majesty and your wondrous works. 6 They will proclaim the power of your awe-inspiring acts, and I will declare your greatness. 7 They will give a testimony of your great goodness and will joyfully sing of your righteousness.
I think of the great stories of 2020
Remember Alicia doing her best to prepare our church for what was coming in March?
Remember Kendra telling the greatness of God during April and Autism awareness month?
Remember the amazing story of God working in the prayers of Frances to touch the heart of her son that we heard on Mother’s Day?
I was reminded just this week that Dave has been in recovery for less than 1 year. Remember his testimony it was more our testimony.
    It didn’t stop there.
But I need to because its time for you to start telling the story of how God has blessed you in 2020.

Are you ready to share all that God has done with you?

Let us hear the stories, maybe you think they sound small, but the Bible is full of small acts of people and big grace of God.
Maybe it is embarrassing, perhaps as embarrassing as admitting your an addict or people pleaser, or a murder like the writer of the portion of the Bible we wrote today was.
My friends let us put aside our pride and help others, by telling them of what God has done in our lives.
As 2020 comes to a close and we have all experienced true hardship, incredible grief, as we embrace those painful truths, let us treasure in our hearts the grace of God in the midst of the hardship and share, share the blessings of God with everyone in our village, our business, our friends.
