    Measuring up To the Call

    To measure is to compute or ascertain extent, quantity, dimensions by a certain rule.
    We measure
    ++Weight with a scale

    ++Value with purchasing power

    There is a cost for the call

    Ephesians 4:1 NKJV
    1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,
    For the call of God
    ++He has suffered many things
    ++He finds himself a prisoner

    Paul’s life was marked by suffering

    Acts 9:16 NKJV
    16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.”
    He recognized that suffering
    ++Is not permanent
    ++Is the process to a greater glory
    Romans 8:18 NKJV
    18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
    2 Corinthians 1:6–7 NKJV
    6 Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. 7 And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation.
    Our affliction is for
    ++Your Consolation
    ++Your Salvation
    We have determined
    ++You are worth the sacrifice
    ++To Believe in God for you
    Philippians 1:29 NKJV
    29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

    Prisoner of the Lord

    2 Timothy 3:10–11 NKJV
    10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, 11 persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.
    Paul’s Pleading
    ++I am not ashamed
    ++I am compelled by God to declare the Gospel
    ++I am guilty as charge
    1 Corinthians 9:16 NKJV
    16 For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!

    Don’t void the grace

    Romans 6:1–2 NKJV
    1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
    God has given us
    ++His grace
    ++His unmerited favor
    ++His empowerment to live or him

    Don’t make His grace empty

    2 Corinthians 4:15 NKJV
    15 For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

    Ephesians 4:11–13 NKJV

    Everyone has something to offer

    You are called to
