Hymn: A Christian's Daily Prayer

Hymn: Crown Him with Many Crowns

Crown Him with many crowns,

The Lamb upon His throne;

Hark, how the heav’nly anthem drowns

All music but its own!

Awake, my soul, and sing

Of Him who died for thee,

And hail Him as thy matchless King

Through all eternity.

Crown Him the Son of God,

before the worlds began,

And ye who tread where He hath trod,

crown Him the Son of Man;

Who ev'ry grief hath known

that wrings the human breast,

And take and bears them for His own,

that all in Him may rest.

Crown Him the Lord of love,

behold His hands and side,

Those wounds, yet visible above,

in beauty glorified.

No angel in the sky

can fully bear that sight,

But downward bends his wond'ring eye

at mysteries so bright.

Crown Him the Lord of life,

Who triumphed o’er the grave,

Who rose victorious in the strife

For those He came to save!

His glories now we sing,

Who died and rose on high,

Who died eternal life to bring,

And lives that death may die.

Crown Him the Lord of lords,

who over all doth reign,

Who once on earth, th'incarnate Word,

for ransomed sinners slain,

Now lives in realms of light,

where saints with angels sing

Their songs before Him day and night,

their God, Redeemer, King.

Crown Him the Lord of peace,

Whose pow’r a scepter sways

From pole to pole, that wars may cease,

Absorbed in prayer and praise:

His reign shall know no end,

And round His pierced feet

Fair flow’rs of Paradise extend,

Their fragrance ever sweet.

Crown Him the Lord of heav’n,

One with the Father known,

And the blest Spirit, through Him giv’n

From yonder glorious throne!

All hail, Redeemer, hail!

For Thou hast died for me;

Thy praise and glory shall not fail

Through out eternity.

Hymn: Hallelujah, What a Savior

Man of sorrows!’ what a name

For the Son of God who came

Ruined sinners to reclaim!

Hallelujah, what a Savior!

Bearing shame and scoffing rude,

In my place condemned He stood,

Seal’d my pardon with His blood;

Hallelujah, what a Savior!

Guilty vile, and helpless we,

Spotless Lamb of God was He;

Full atonement! can it be?

Hallelujah, what a Savior!

Lifted up was He to die,

‘It is finished,’ was His cry;

Now in heav’n exalted high,

Hallelujah, What a Savior!

When He comes, our glorious King,

All His ransomed home to bring,

Then anew this song we’ll sing,

Hallelujah, what a Savior!

Hymn: O Lord, My Rock and My Redeemer

O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer,

Greatest treasure of my longing soul,

My God, like You there is no other;

True delight is found in You alone.

Your grace, a well too deep to fathom;

Your love exceeds the heavens' reach;

Your truth, a fount of perfect wisdom,

My highest good, and my unending need.

O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer,

Strong defender of my weary heart,

My sword to fight the cruel deceiver,

And my shield against his hateful darts.

My song when enemies surround me,

My hope when tides of sorrow rise,

My joy when trials are abounding,

Your faithfulness, my refuge in the night.

O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer,

Gracious Savior of my ruined life;

My guilt and cross laid on Your shoulders;

In my place You suffered bled and died.

You rose the grave and death are conquered!

You broke my bonds of sin and shame!

You rose the grave and death are conquered!

You broke my bonds of sin and shame!

O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer,

May all my days bring glory to Your Name.

May all my days bring glory to Your Name.

Hymn: A Christian's Daily Prayer

As morning dawns and day awakes

To You I bring my need

O Gracious God my source of strength

In You I live and breathe

Each hour is Yours by Wisdom planned

Each deed empower'd by sovereign hands

Renew my spirit help me stand

Be glorified today

As day unfolds I seek Your will

In all of life's demands

And though the tempter tries me still

I cling to Your commands

Let every effort of my life

Display the matchless worth of Christ

Make me a living sacrifice

Be glorified today

As sun gives way to darkest night

Your Spirit still is here

And though my strength fades like the light

New mercies will appear

I rest in You abide with me

Until our trials and suffering

Give way to final victory

Be glorified today

I rest in You abide with me

Until our trials and suffering

Give way to final victory

Be glorified today

Be glorified I pray
