Warrenton Bible Fellowship began in 1978 as a small Bible study at the farm of Guy and Leslie Farley. The gathering included Richard Ashby, one of our current elders. As Guy invited various Christian leaders and other speakers who had influence in Washington, the group grew, and eventually the church was formed. The congregation met in various locations around town. In 1983 we moved into our current building.

Since 2005, WBF has been committed to expository preaching and teaching. We present sermons taken directly from the Scriptures, laboring to interpret them accurately and provide a modern-day application of their timeless truths.

Everything we teach, from the nursery through the adult ministries, has its foundation in the Bible and its teachings. We want to see our young ones grow up expecting to hear the Word of God when they come to church, and for our older folks to continue to grow in the Word.

WBF has seen significant growth over the recent years. One significant manifestation of that growth occurred in 2005 when we planted Hope Christian Fellowship, now at Vint Hill.

There is history yet to be written by God as He leads us into the future and beyond the walls of this building to reach our community for Christ. We’re glad you’ve decided to be a part of what God has in store!
