CONGRATULATIONS AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Corky Vander Wall who will celebrate her 100th birthday this Saturday, November 25! Corky’s family invites us to an open house this Saturday at Meadow Greens from 2-4 pm. In addition, Corky will be our guest of honor next Sunday, November 26 at coffee time following our service.

THANKSGIVING EVE SERVICE: Join us on Wednesday at 7 pm for our Thanksgiving Eve service. A list of suggested ministries you may give to is in your church mailbox today. Offering envelopes will be collected at our service or can be mailed to the church office. All unspecified gifts will go to Lighthouse Mission.
OVERFLOWING WITH GRATITUDE Thanksgiving poster: Please help us prepare for our Thanksgiving Eve service by sharing what you are thanking God for this season! You are encouraged to write something you are thankful for on the gratitude sign that is in the library. You may also draw something or place a thank you note on the board. All ages are encouraged to contribute!
NO TUESDAY LADIES morning Bible study this week; also, no Wednesday morning senior coffee. Both will resume next week.
REMINDER: No Sunday School for adults and youth next week, November 26.
VOLUNTEER SCHEDULES: Sherry will be making the 2024 Sunday volunteer schedules in the next few weeks. If you are currently on a list and do not wish to be on next year’s schedule, please email or call the office. The results of the latest Resource Questionnaire will be used to make the schedules and will include all those who signed up to help in various roles.

UPDATE FROM COUNCIL AND ADMIN TEAM:
1) Thank you for your unanimous support of the Quilt house reroof project. Work will begin, weather permitting, the week of November 27.
2) We received the report from the Welcome to Bethel task force. Thank you, Jennie Meenderinck, Rebecca Steiger, and John Hiemstra, for your work. The Admin Team and Council will begin implementing many of your suggestions. In the meantime, we ask the congregation to pray that the Lord will bring visitors and new members into our fellowship and that we as a church body will be ready to share our love for God and each other with them.
3) The Admin Team is forwarding a proposal to the Council for an upgrade to the Sound, Projection, and Livestream systems of our church.
4) We are currently reevaluating the use and purpose of our library. If you have comments or suggestions, please share them with an elder.
5) Thanks again for filling out the resource questionnaire. Sherry has copies of the results in the church office. Please reach out to her or a member of the Admin Team if you need a list of volunteers.
NEXT WEEK’S OFFERING will be for the Faith Promise Fund which supports the following ministries: Bridges of Hope, Engedi, Envision Ministries, New Way Ministries, Starfish Ministries, NW Hispanic Ministry, The Table, Community Outreach, Bethel Quilting, Backpack Buddies, and our missionaries.
