WELCOME TO Pastor Steve and Sandy Frieswick who will soon be retiring. The Frieswicks will update us on their future plans during today’s service.
EASTER CHOIR: We will meet today, March 17, and March 24 after the service (approximately 11:25-11:45 am) to prepare one song for Easter Sunday, March 31. Join us!
POTLUCK: Care Community One (Apol/Hiemstra) will have a potluck in the basement after the service today. Please join us if you are visiting Bethel.
POTLUCK NEXT WEEK: Care Community Four (V. Meenderinck/De Young).
LIBRARY WINDOWS will be replaced on Monday and Tuesday.
COUNCIL NOMINATIONS: Bethel will soon need to find two Shepherding Elders to replace Les Mulder and Brent Van Dalen and two Service Deacons to replace Bob Vander Haak and Paul Hiemstra. Please pray that the Lord will continue to provide the leadership needed for His Church here at Bethel. If you have suggestions for either of these offices, please contact the members of the Nomination Committee: Les Mulder, Bernace Korthuis, Julie Ball, Bob Vander Haak, or Jacob Steiger.
THANK YOU for your prayers for the Classis North Cascades meeting last week. A couple notable moments were:
1. Delegates for Synod 2024 were selected. Pastor: Jon Young (3rd CRC); Elders: Mike Jager (3rd CRC); Marco Daniel (Amor Viviente); Deacon: Rob Hilverda (1st CRC).
2. Classis is forming a committee to consider how to best facilitate a local Christian counseling resource for our churches.
3. Report from Amor Viviente during which we heard of great growth in the congregation both numerically and spiritually. They have several men being discipled for leadership who are currently taking seminary classes.
