EASTER CHOIR: We will meet today and next week after the service (approximately 11:25-11:45 am) to prepare one song for Easter Sunday, March 31. Join us!
POTLUCK: Care Community Four (V. Meenderinck/De Young) will have a potluck in the basement after the service today. Please join us if you are visiting Bethel.
SHINE will meet with First CRC’s youth group on Wednesday, March 20 from 7:30-9 pm to listen to a guest speaker. Please invite your friends to join us.
FROM THE DEACONS: In January we were blessed to have the Cadets participate and be recognized in our worship service. Since the offering that day was previously designated to another cause, we will now be taking an offering for the Cadet program next Sunday, March 24.
NOTES FROM MARCH 11 ELDERS MEETING:
1. Spent time in prayer for the members of Bethel.
2. After hearing some options the elders encouraged Pastor Bryan to preach through the book of Hosea after Easter.
3. Started the process for Pastor Bryan's annual review.
4. We are planning a prayer and praise evening service on April 21.
COUNCIL NOMINATIONS: Bethel will soon need to find two Shepherding Elders to replace Les Mulder and Brent Van Dalen and two Service Deacons to replace Bob Vander Haak and Paul Hiemstra. Please pray that the Lord will continue to provide the leadership needed for His Church here at Bethel. If you have suggestions for either of these offices, please contact the members of the Nomination Committee: Les Mulder, Bernace Korthuis, Julie Ball, Bob Vander Haak, or Jacob Steiger.
