TODAY IS GEMS SUNDAY. Welcome to all our Bethel GEMS and your parents. Thank you for designing today’s bulletin covers and participating in our service this morning. Thank you to our GEMS leaders this year: Carissa Hiemstra, Rebecca Steiger and Elaine Vos.
GEMS TACO NIGHT fundraiser will be Tuesday, April 30, 5-7 pm in the basement. We will be serving beef tacos, all the fixings and Edaleen ice cream for dessert. Dinner by donation. We would love to serve you!
GIVING THANKS: As today marks the end of another Sunday School year, we thank Cori Litorja, Marcia Mulder, Jennie Meenderinck and Pastor Bryan for their commitment to teaching the K-12 classes. Students in their classes not only gained head knowledge about God but were challenged to apply that knowledge and express ways they saw God at work. Teachers were also instrumental in involving our youth in services. What a joy to witness students leading worship through singing, playing handbells, reading, drawing, and sharing their own reflections. In addition, we thank Elaine for her piano accompaniment and Ed Ball for leading the adult Sunday School class. As a congregation, we can see how this education year radiates the goodness and faithfulness of God within our church. ~Glenda Elgersma, Sunday School Superintendent
