BIRTHDAY BLESSINGS to John Maas who will celebrate his 88th birthday on November 21.

THANK YOU: We want to express our deepest gratitude for your heartfelt condolences and invaluable support during the recent loss of our mother, Midge Timmer. Your kind words, prayers, and assistance with the service and reception were truly comforting and helped us navigate through this difficult time. Our Mom had a special place in her heart for Bethel Christian Reformed Church. Thank you for honoring her memory. Sincerely, Judy Ozinga, Susan Jones, Pat Lanning, Cheryl Weg, and Marlae Schnare (the Midge Timmer family)

The deadline for orders is tomorrow, November 18.

THANKSGIVING OFFERING: The list of suggested ministries you may give to for our Thanksgiving offering (along with an envelope for your check) is in your church mailbox today. Our Thanksgiving Eve service will be held Wednesday, November 27.

BETHEL VAN DRIVERS NEEDED: After many years of driving the Bethel van, John and Jane Schouten are retiring from this worthwhile service for our senior citizens. If you feel led to help with this ministry, please talk to Jerry Meenderinck, Dick Drost or Doug Van Andel.

MITCHELL SENTI will be leading us in worship on December 1.

COUNCIL AND ADMINISTRATION TEAM REPORTS:

Council and Admin Team both met on Tuesday, November 12.

• Council approved the appointment of Jill Sipma to the Admin Team starting January 1. She will replace Marilyn Haak. Be sure to thank Marilyn for her service to this church.

• We praise God for the completion of the Sound System project. Thanks to the congregation for their support and patience.

• The Deacons shared the proposed list of ministries for Thanksgiving and Faith Promise. More information will be shared with the congregation at pledge time.

• A concerted effort has been made to clean up some of the “stuff” stored in various rooms around church. Thanks to Alvin and Marilyn for spearheading this project.

• Van drivers are needed to help transport some of our members for Sunday worship.

• The Legacy fund was discussed and it was determined that a new Legacy fund committee will be formed to manage funds.

• The goals for Council, Elders, Deacons, and Admin Team were reviewed. Progress has been made in many areas with a few areas that need a continued effort for the remainder of the year.
