Announcements

REFORMED ROOTS: This evening, we will be considering the suffering of Jesus. About 1/3 of all the gospels are spent on the final week of Jesus' life because of the centrality of the death of Jesus. All ages are welcome to join a study and discussion of the particular suffering of Jesus and the comfort we have as believers.

GEMS AND GENTS will enjoy our bowling night at Mt. Baker Lanes Friday, October 24 at 6:30 pm. We will not meet on Monday, October 27. November 10 is our next regular meeting (Butterbraids arrive!).

THANK YOU for the gift certificates, cards, notes of appreciation and donuts for staff appreciation. What a blessing it is to serve alongside our Bethel family. ~ Pastor Bryan, Elaine, Marv, Pam and Sherry.

REHOBOTH OFFERING: Next Sunday, our offering will be for Rehoboth Christian School in New Mexico. Founded as a CRC mission school to reach the Navajo people over one hundred years ago, Rehoboth has for generations been a light shining the hope of Christ into the Navajo culture. This morning, we will watch a video during the offering to see what God is doing at Rehoboth, and we encourage your generous giving next week to this worthy cause.

ADMIN MEETING HIGHLIGHTS: The Admin team met on October 13.

• We noted with gratitude that September giving was strong.

• We started plans for cleaning out the upstairs of the Quilt House.

• We are thankful for new folding chairs and the adapted chair racks.

• We discussed potential renovations to the Fireside Room, library and kitchen.

• Motion carried to allow the church to be used for a Bible quizzing meet on November 1.

THE 2026 BETHEL VOLUNTEER SCHEDULES will be made in the next several weeks, using the current lists and information from the latest resource questionnaire. If you do not wish to be on a list that you have been on this year (prayer warrior, security, lift, etc.) please email Sherry at office@bethelcrc.org. Thank you.
