FAITH PROMISE MISSIONS FUND: Please prayerfully consider how you can support the Faith Promise Missions Fund this week and be sure to turn in the pledge card you received in your mailbox by next Sunday. A complete list of the missionaries and ministries we hope to support was also included in your mailbox. In the coming year, you will see the name "Faith Promise Missions Fund" in print as we transition to calling this our Missions Fund, which better describes its purpose. Pledge cards can be placed in the offering bags this week or next. Thank you for your faithful giving to help us support these worthy outreach ministries!
REFORMED ROOTS: Tonight, we will continue our morning study of the reign of Jesus as we consider what the Bible means when it teaches that Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father. The rule and reign of Jesus is a deep source of comfort for believers, and we will see how we even can look forward to his return.
ADVANCE NOTICE: PRAYER RETREAT: Mark your calendars! We are excited to share that we are planning a special Prayer Retreat on Sunday, February 15. We will rent the peaceful facilities at Cedar Springs Retreat Center in Sumas—a wonderful place dedicated to helping Christian groups find quiet space with God, surrounded by natural beauty. If you are interested in joining us for focused prayer, fellowship and spiritual renewal, please add this to your calendars now! More details (including times, schedules, sign-up process, what to bring) will be coming in the weeks ahead.
SERMON SERIES: Using the Heidelberg Catechism, we are walking through the Lord’s Prayer line by line in our current sermon series. Prayer is one of the central parts of our response of faith and yet most overlooked, misunderstood and forgotten. My hope is that in this series all our prayer lives should grow in depth, purpose and we will deepen our walk as followers of Jesus. ~Pastor Bryan
