CONGRATULATIONS to Sam Hiemstra and Paige Corkill who will be married at Bethel this Friday, June 12! May the Lord bless Sam and Paige with many years together serving Him and one another.    

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to Stan and Sharon De Vries who will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary on June 11. 

THIS MORNING we honor our high school graduates: Katie Hiemstra and Logan Van Dalen. Congratulations to all our graduates: eighth grade: Gus De Jong; college: Rebecca Ball and Sam Hiemstra. We are also recognizing our Liturgy Class students during this morning’s service: Cord De Jong, Isaiah De Vries, Travis De Vries, Chance Hiemstra and Caleb Vos. 

COFFEETIME TODAY: This morning we will celebrate our graduates after church with cake and coffee upstairs. Here are a few tips for the new coffee routine:

• There are two stations for coffee on the counter in the old library. These are stations where you will help yourself. 

• In addition, coffee will be available at the kitchen counter.

• There will also be hot water for tea available every week at the kitchen counter.  

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING: Thank you to all who attended the meeting on Wednesday. The July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 church budget was approved, reports were heard and the following office bearers were selected: Karl Bosman, Shepherding Elder; Kevin Te Velde, Service Deacon. Thank you to everyone whose names were on the ballot. Thank you to our retiring council members: Marv Apol, Shepherding Elder and Jerry Meenderinck, Service Deacon. Their term ends on June 30.  

WOMEN OF BETHEL: The retreat committee is beginning to plan our upcoming fall retreat (more info coming soon!) and we are looking for the photo album of pictures from past retreats. If anyone has it or has any idea where it could be, please talk to Jill S., Elaine V., Carol DY, or Julie B.

SYNOD 2026: The annual meeting of the Christian Reformed Denomination is taking place June 12-18 in Grand Rapids, MI. Please remember all the delegates who are serving us as they deliberate on behalf of the churches. Please keep Rebecca Steiger in your prayers as she goes on behalf of Classis North Cascades. We pray for God's will to be done, and his kingdom to be seen in and through their work.
