  • The next time you take Communion, don't approach it as a ritual. Approach it as a receiving time. Approach it as a prophetic act.
When you hold the bread, recognize that it represents Jesus body broken for your healing.
Thank God for that! Believe it!
And as you eat the bread, receive healing into your body by faith.
Speak it, declare it, claim it.
Then when you take the cup, recognize that it represents Jesus' blood shed for your forgiveness and righteousness.
Receive it into your being, speak it, declare it, claim it.
And when you partake of both in faith you're receiving the fullness of what Jesus purchased
You're not just getting one benefit. You're getting all of them:
Forgiveness and healing, Righteousness and health. Peace with God, and peace in your body.
Imagine that Jesus is standing right in front of you and he's offering you this bread. He says, "Take, eat. This is my body. It is broken for you."
First you recognize that his body was broken for your healing. When you hold the bread in your hand you think about His sacrifice for healing and the victory He has given you.
Second you receive healing by faith when you eat the bread You're not just performing a ritual, you're actively receiving what Jesus purchased. As you eat the bread, you thank God that Jesus' body was broken for your healing. You declare that by His stripes you were healed. You receive healing into your body in Jesus' name. You're exercising faith. You're claiming what belongs to you and that's when communion becomes powerful.
now bReak the bread and from that brokenness receive wholeness

    Partake of the Bread

Third, you speak healing over your body after you've partaken. You confess what you've received.
    Say this:

I thank you Father that by the stripes of Jesus I was healed. I command this sickness to leave my body. I receive that healing now into my body. Every sickness, every disease, every symptom has to bow to the finished work of Christ. I am healed in Jesus name.

You're releasing your faith through your confession and that confession activates the healing power in communion.

Now Imagine that Jesus is still standing right in front of you and he's offering you this cup. He says, Take this cup and drink from it all of you, for it is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many the remission of sins.
First you recognize that His blood was shed for your forgiveness. When you hold the cup in your hand you don't just think about His sacrifice for sin. You think about the victory of the cross over the enemy.
Second you receive forgiveness and righteousness by faith when you drink the cup. You're not just performing a ritual, you're actively receiving what Jesus purchased. As you drink the cup you thank God that Jesus' blood was shed for your forgiveness. You declare that by His Shed blood, you were forgiven. You receive Righteousness into your being in Jesus' name. You're exercising faith. You're claiming what belongs to you and that's when communion becomes powerful.

    Partake of the Cup

Third, you speak life over yourself after you've partaken. You confess what you've received.
    Say this:

I thank you Father that by the blood of Jesus I was forgiven. I receive His righteousness in exchange for my sin. Sin has to bow to the finished work of Christ. I am free in Jesus name.

You're releasing your faith through your confession and that confession activates the power in communion
    REMEMBER
    Luke 5:17–20 NKJV
and the power of the Lord was present to heal

    So here's the challenge:
stop taking communion as just a memorial. — Start taking it as a receiving time,
stop treating it as tradition, —start treating it as a transaction with God
    stop going through the motions,
start exercising faith because when you discern the Lord's body — you recognize that His broken body purchased your healing and His shed blood purchased your forgiveness
when you receive that by faith as you partake — communion becomes one of the most powerful tools God has given you for maintaining health and defeating sin
