    Focus on our relationship with the Lord

    Revelation 19:11–16 NLT
    11 Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war. 12 His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself. 13 He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses. 15 From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress. 16 On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.
    Jesus is many things… my provider… my sanctifier… my protector… but he is also king of kings and lord of lords. He is our Savior too, and we all like this part.

    Jesus is Lord of Lords

    Lord literally means master… owner… Lord.
    What a great way to start this year saying to Jesus, you are my Lord…
    This is different for us in US because we have a democracy where we can choose our leaders. And I thank God that he gave us this kind of government. A kingdom is a monarchy. Jesus is not president, He is King of Kings.
    Here is a verse we can pray…
    Philippians 2:5–11 NLT
    5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. 6 Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. 7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, 8 he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. 9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    He gave up His rights

    Lord you don’t owe me anything. Lord what do you need from me

    He humbled himself

    Jesus left heaven and lived as one of us.

    He lived in obedience to His Father

    Thank you that you are my peace… Shalom. Anxiety and fear and worry will not dominate my life. I give you my requests with thanksgiving and I accept your peace.

    Asking for an out pouring of your spirit in our lives and in our nation….
    give us this day our daily bread… I depend on you for everything… health… family… provision…
    Lord forgive us as we forgive those who trespass against us.. HS point out anything in us that grieves you.
    Lord I forgive those who have hurt me…
    I pray that I am not lead into temptation, but you have delivered me from the evil one…
    Today I declare that you are an awesome God and in your name Jesus, I declare victory over the devil.
    To you be the Glory and the Power…
    Sing chorus… You have no rival… Jesus in the mountains … Jesus for my family… I speak the holy name… Jesus in the darkness over every enemy… Your name is power … your name is life….
