Thank you to the Youth Group members and their parents for donating their time on Wednesday. They created 16 quilts which will be delivered to the Carver/Scott Crisis Nursery this week. The Crisis Nursery offers support to parents in crisis. It is a prevention program dedicated to protecting children from abuse and neglect. It is a lifeline to parents in crisis, emergency situations, or undergoing overwhelming stress. This program promotes healthy families, relationships and communities.
The Women’s Guild sells boxes of cards($5 for a box of twelve) in the entryway.
We are preparing to give our yearly donation to Heidelberg Seminary to help support the training of ministers in the Philippines. If you are interested in helping please make a note in the memo line of your check or note on the special offering envelope.
There are some packets on religious exemptions on the reading table.
Mission Fest will be Sunday November 7th. Rev. Michael Voytek is our guest pastor. He is the pastor of the RCUS mission work Dickinson, ND and has taken several mission trips to the Philippines. Due to the increases of cases of the coronavirus, even in the church, we will have pie with toppings, to make the time shorter and people can spread out even to outside if its nice.

100. Is the profaning of God’s name, by swearing and cursing, so grievous a sin that His wrath is kindled against those also who do not help as much as they can to hinder and forbid it?
