Today we celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Table) which commemorates union with Christ by faith(baptism commemorates union with Christ by regeneration). Those who have publicly professed their faith in Christ, being examined by a church and hold to the orthodox doctrines of the Christian faith, including justification by faith alone, and are in good standing as members of Christ’s church, are welcome. Please humbly prepare your hearts accordingly. Please Read 1 Corinthians 11:26-29.
Please carefully drive across the road to the cemetery road, beginning by the ball diamond. We will be serving by the parsonage driveway. We will serve many cars at a time and that will be a table. If you have any concerns know it’s alright if you choose not to partake.
Thanks to Gene Yaeck, Bob Smith, Richie Kroells, Mike Gahl and Alan Herrmann for helping with the fall clean up yesterday.
We are accepting offerings to help with the training of men for the ministry in the Philippines through Heidelberg Seminary. This work continues to grow!
October 4 we will move worship back indoors. While we must not fear(Luke 12:4), we can take precautions. As Christians who are called to “Honor the king”(1 Peter 2:17) we also have to strive to follow the mandates of Governor Walz, unless they put us in conflict with God’s law(Acts 5:29). These mandates require a mask be worn inside. We will also have masks available. If you are not wearing a mask we will assume you have a health condition which does not allow it. To honor the 6 foot rule between families we will use every other pew and diagonally stagger. We will fill the church from the front to the back and have the back pews leave first. Visiting also will be encouraged outdoors. Our sister churches of Redeemer and Emmaus, have been doing this, without any issues. We will also have a touch free hand sanitizing station. Gloves have been shown to spread germs more easily when used, so we will not use them. The New England Journal of Medicine also reported in a study that the virus last up to four days on paper, so the removal of the Bibles and hymnals is not needed.

Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee; Holy, Holy, Holy, merciful and mighty! God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, Holy, Holy, all the saints adore thee, Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea; Cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee, Who wert, and art, and evermore shalt be.
Holy, Holy, Holy, though the darkness hide thee, Though the eye of sinful man thy glory may not see, Only thou art holy; there is none beside thee, Perfect in power, in love, and purity.
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty! All thy works shall praise thy Name, in earth and sky and sea; Holy, Holy, Holy, merciful and mighty! God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

He leadeth me: O blessed thought! O words with heav'nly comfort fraught! Whate'er I do, where'er I be, Still 'tis God's hand that leadeth me.
He leadeth me, he leadeth me; By his own hand he leadeth me: His faithful foll'wer I would be, For by his hand he leadeth me.
Sometimes 'mid scenes of deepest gloom, Sometimes where Eden's bowers bloom, By waters calm, o'er troubled sea, Still 'tis his hand that leadeth me.
Lord, I would clasp thy hand in mine, Nor ever murmur nor repine; Content, whatever lot I see, Since 'tis my God that leadeth me.
And when my task on earth is done, When, by thy grace, the vict'ry's won, E'en death's cold wave I will not flee, Since God through Jordan leadeth me.

Shepherd of souls, refresh and bless, Thy chosen pilgrim flock, With manna in the wilderness, With water from the rock.
Hungry and thirsty, faint and weak, As thou when here below, Our souls the joys celestial seek, Which from thy sorrows flow.
We would not live by bread alone, But by that Word of grace, In strength of which we travel on, To our abiding place.
Be known to us in breaking bread, But do not then depart; Saviour, abide with us, and spread, Thy table in our heart. There sup with us in love Divine; Thy body and thy blood, That living bread, that heav'nly wine, Be our immortal food.
Apostles Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only-begotten Son, our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy, universal Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen. How Are You and I Saved?
