    Celebration

    2025 was a fantastic year

    Hired Jason King
    Moved to the Junior High
Fear and concern involved, turned out ok
    Thank everyone for accommodating
Attendance has grown for the 5th year
    Opened a Thrift Store
Added an Elder to our team— Ben Necochea

    Thrift Store

We opened the thrift store this year.
The setup was incredible. So many people gave of their time and skills to make this possible
This was set up to be a ministry, but also to help facilitate ministry within the church
Ministry story from the thrift store
Last week, a lady came into the thrift store
Our team (Ginny) saw her and saw there was more there than a customer.
She asked for a Bible and Ginny gave her one, prayed with her and invited her back the next day.
She returned the next day and Ginny was able to hear more of her story
She said she had a dream that she needed help and just started driving and ended up at our thrift store.
She didn’t know it was a church store
She was invited to the Wednesday morning women’s discipleship group and has begun attending
Now, because of the heart of our thrift store volunteers, she is getting connected and beginning the journey of growing as a disciple
    Our thrift store is profitable
Numerous people are serving there and finding a way to serve others
Many people are coming to church in part because of the thrift store
We need to recognize the value of the thrift store
We are in a building project
Many churches begin building projects, and their ministries have to take a step back so they can afford a building.
The thrift store will enable us to continue in all of our ministries the vision to reach the world for Jesus and be able to still afford moving into a building
Those who volunteer there are engaging in ministry, but also serving in a way for others to engage into ministry.
When you go there to drop off donations, or go shopping thank every person you see there.
Their service, your donations, your purchases are helping us reach the world for Jesus.

    Building Project

I understand there has been some silence over the winter regarding our progress toward a new building
This isn’t because nothing was happening, rather there was a lot of pieces being moved around the table that have finally found their place over the last month.
    Financing
We had been rejected last fall for our loan
Shopped around, then TSF has come back to the table with a competitive rate
    Site development
    Wetland management
    Timeline
We were able to develop a timeline
End of March— Wetland permit expected completion
End of March— Conditional approval for financing
    Month of April—Civil Engineer Drawings
    Month of April— Construction Drawings
End of April-May— Subcontractor Bidding (3-4 week bidding period)
May to early June— Building Permit Application
May to early June— Subcontractor Contract Signing
Early June— Construction Start (Ditch Filling Celebration)
    Early June 2026-March 2027— Construction
March 2027-April 2027— Prepare to Move In
    April 2027-May 2027— Target Opening
This may all be new information to you, so we will be working to rebuild our Building a Legacy page on the website to add the timeline, photos and other information as it becomes available.
This leads to communication. A couple of weeks ago, we sent out a newsletter with some of this information on it.
If you did not receive the email, I have a couple of steps for you:
Every time I send out an email, there are people who say they didn’t get it.
Please fill out an Information Card and make a note on there to confirm your email address is correct in the communication system
They are sent out to the heads of households. If you didn’t get one, check your husbands email. He probably did get it and it was ignored.
We are working on other communication strategies to ensure everyone who wants the information knows when it is available and where to find it.
This pause has been a blessing. It hasn’t been a super smooth road, but God has shown Himself to be faithful.
If we had built as we were prepared to build last year, we would be in big trouble right now
We learned a ton going through this winter and God has allowed us to learn some really important things and prepare to begin this process with a means of maintaining ministry while building.

    Financials

I’m going to briefly give you the BIG PICTURE financial snapshot from the end of 2025

    Savings Accts (Solomon Fund) $973,333.44
    Total Account Balances— $1, 089,108.97
If anyone wants a breakdown of these numbers at a deeper level, please speak with Donovan.
Also, I want to express a tremendous gratitude to Donovan and Jeanette
They not only maintain our finances
They were pivotal in launching our Thrift Store
They helped us continue to build financial structure by creating a more functional budgeting process for the year
    Maintain insurances, licenses, employee stuff,
Jeanette and Donovan are a blessing that our church cannot operate without.

    Children’s/Youth (Christian)

    Worship (Jason)

    Life Groups (Jared)

Normally I would have Larry up here, but I am not giving a report. I’m issuing a challenge
We need to become fishers of men.
It is open fishing season for life groups
A sign-up sheet will not build a relational foundation for this church
You meeting people and hunting for people to connect to your group will build the foundation.
We are a friendly church. But, we cannot simply remain friendly. We must be relational.

    Conclusion

We exist to reach the world for Jesus, one person at a time
    Take questions
    Make elders available
