Cornerstone Faith Community Church, Bloomingdale, Illinois, is a growing, non-denominational, Christian church, located approximately 15 miles West of Chicago, Illinois. We're set on the top of a hill, in the Village of Bloomingdale, where we have been striving to reach our community with the mercy, grace, love and knowledge of Jesus Christ for nearly 140 years.

In May of 1878, the first members of our congregation gathered in a small, wood-frame church house for worship and for prayer. It wasn't long after this that the ministry of the church began to grow, seeking to reach the needs of our community, be they spiritual, physical or emotional. A line of gifted pastors and teachers has kept God's Word at the very heart of all we do, think and say. We believe that our most important witness always has been, certainly is now, and always will be the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Today, worship might look different in this place than it did a century ago, but one thing hasn't changed: What we do in this place has always been for God's glory alone! Whether we are gathered for our Sunday Morning Gatherings in the Sanctuary or Thursday evening Bible Study; Women's Prayer Ministry or Kids Fun Nights; Sanctuary Choir Practice or Family Game Night; our mission is always the same: "with one mind and one voice we will glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 15:6)

We are convinced that God loves us intently, so we seek to respond to that love in all that we do, think and say. We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God, recorded for us by human instruments, and preserved for our benefit by the power of the Holy Spirit. The word of God is to be "believed in all that it teaches, obeyed in all that it requires, and trusted in all that it promises."
