Parents of current students in grades 5-8 are invited to a short
meeting following worship on Sunday, January 17. We will be giving out information regarding Jr. High RYM which is scheduled for August 2-8. If you are unable to attend, speak with Nancy Wassink or Pastor Mark and they will be happy to give you the information from the meeting.
Bloodmobile: There will be a Red Cross blood drive at the Presbyterian Church in Edgerton on Wednesday, January 27 from 12:00-6:00. Please call Betty at 507-227-8416 or firstname.lastname@example.org to make or confirm an appointment. There is a constant need for blood. Every 2 seconds someone/somewhere in the U.S. needs blood. Anyone 17 years or older and in good health is invited to donate.
Morning Psalms and Prayer Update: After 191 videos, Pastor Mark has made his way through reading and providing devotional commentary on the entire book of Psalms. The final video will be posted on Monday, January 18. Many people have asked what will be available when we come to the end of the Psalter. Starting on January 25, Pastor Mark will be posting “Dwell in the Word” devotional videos. The format will be nearly identical to the Psalms videos. We will start by working through the Gospel of Mark. These videos will be posted on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings and will be available on our Facebook page and YouTube Channel. They will also be available as an audio podcast on Spotify and other podcatcher apps.
Free Bible Study Tools: We are pleased to announce that as a member of our congregation you can receive great Bible study resources through Faithlife. This is available as a part of our using their worship presentation software, web hosting, and online giving. Resources include Logos Bible (software for PC, Mac, Android, and iOS) and Faithlife TV (a Christian videos streaming service). To sign up go to http://fl.vu/f and register. Make sure to connect your account to Edgerton First Reformed. In the future, we will offer instruction on how to use these great tools to study God’s Word.
Thank you for your prayers and support during our mothers health
struggles and the expressions of sympathy on her passing.
