    1) Thinking of Others

    For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.”
    Christ led the way in modeling thinking of others
    We, too, can show thankfulness by remembering that, and then doing likewise

    2) Being Together

    Romans 15:7 NASB95
    Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God.
    Jesus Christ is the One Who put us together - the church
    Paul has built up to this point, loving one another, serving each other and with each other

    3) The Source of Goodness

    Therefore in Christ Jesus I have found reason for boasting in things pertaining to God.
    Romans 15:18 NASB95
    For I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me, resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed,
    Never forget the Source, the reason and object of boasting
    Start the day, thanking Jesus
    Be thankful He can and will use you, work through you
    The good He works through you is felt, it is!
    That triumph you enjoyed, blessed others, too
    That hardship you endured, people saw and witnessed God’s glory through you
    There IS good, and it is all because of Christ

    4) Peace

    Thankfulness brings peace
    Romans 15:33 NASB95
    Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
    He offered reconciliation to you, still does
    You will never know peace until you fully embrace Him
    Thankfulness - the path to peace with and because of God
    Thankfulness for:
    Jesus, his death and resurrection
    His ascension, to then send us the Spirit
    His eventual return to carry us home
    This is thankfulness we all can share
