โข Clue #1: David Rejoices Before the Lord
"David became more and more powerful, because the Lord God Almighty was with him" (5:10).
"It was before the LORD, who chose me rather than your father or anyone from his house when he appointed me ruler over the LORD'S people Israel I will celebrate before the LORD. I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes. But by these slave girls you spoke of, I will be held in honor." 2 Samuel 6:20-22
โข Clue #2: David Honors God with a Sacrifice
"Oh, that someone would get me a drink of water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem!" So, the three mighty men broke through the Philistine lines, drew water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem and carried it back to David. But he refused to drink it; instead, he poured it out before the LORD. "Far be it from me, O LORD, to do this!" he said. "Is it not the blood of men who went at the risk of their lives?" 2 Samuel 23:13-17
โข Clue #3: David Repents from His Sin
โBut the king said to Araunah, โNo, but I will buy it from you for a price. I will not offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God that cost me nothing.โ So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. 25 And David built there an altar to the Lord and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So, the Lord responded to the plea for the land, and the plague was averted from Israel.โ 2 Samuel 24:24โ25

Our Church has a program to assist unfortunate individuals who we see from time-to-time as we travel about. We now have a โBlessing Bagโ that contains several helpful items for them. You can pick one up by the door going out the fellowship hall or see Lynn Wood for more information.
