  • V is for Victory – in ALL areas of your life
    Jesus is victorious
    Jesus gave us His victory
We have everything we need to live a victorious life
Victory = Jesus is the victor – for me!
    1 Corinthians 15:57 (NLT)
    1 Corinthians 15:57 NLT
57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Don’t settle for less than Christ’s best

Public victory begins with Personal victory

We are only as victorious publicly as we are personally
You can only teach others what you know
you can only give what you have
    1 John 5:4 (NLT)
    1 John 5:4 NLT
4 For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.
4 For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.
The early church changed the world - even before the entire Bible was written. We should have at least the same results as they. Unfortunately, we do not. It’s time to plug fully into Christ, so the world can see him through us.

Positional truth- are you living what Jesus has given?

In Christ, the price for everything you need has already been paid. We have a covenant with God that guarantees us everything we need to live a victoriously in every sphere of life. The child of God has every advantage possible known to man. Our limitless advantages cover every sphere of our life to include the spiritual, natural, mental, social, and financial areas of our life.
There are reasons for failure and the Christian, but there are no excuses. Jesus has paid the ultimate price, not only for our salvation for the afterlife, but also for victory in this life.
But in order to live victoriously, we must apply God‘s victory to every area of our personal life, or His sacrifice will do us no good in that particular area.

    Paradox – defeated Christian

You already have victory – but can live without
For example, the stripes on Jesus body were for the healing of your body, but yet you can remain sick.
Jesus became poor so that we might become rich, but we could still live as poor as an unsaved person.
It is not God’s will for His children to be sick, sad, broke, lonely, defeated, weak, ineffective, passed by, dominated
There are two main reasons for failure = ignorance or unbelief
    · Ignorance - you have never been told.
    · Unbelief - you did not apply what you were told

    Victory in Spirit = dominant

    Victory through authority
Victory in the Spirit means to Maintain Authority in Christ, even when attacked, like Jesus was in the wilderness for 40 days
Jesus gained your victory for you by defeating the devil and then giving you His authority through His Name!
Jesus defeated the devil in the wilderness so we could have his victory in our world
    It is written
We now have authority in Jesus’ Name
Who is dominating in your life?
When push comes to shove, who is the first one to give in?

    Victory in Soul = Joy

    3 John 2 (NLT)
    3 John 2 NLT
2 Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.
2 Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.

    Philippians 4:8 NLT
8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

4 We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. 5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.

I bind my heart to God’s heart

    Victory in Body = Health

    Jesus's payment - His stripes
    1 Peter 2:24 (NLT)
    1 Peter 2:24 NLT
24 He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.
24 He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.

    Victory in Wealth = Prosperity

Jesus was wealthy all the days of His life – kings brought Him chests full of gold when He was a child. Jesus was never bi-vocational.
Jesus supported the entire apostolic team – even while Judas was stealing from him! Even His final seamless robe was of gambling value.
Yet Jesus laid everything down for your victory, including financial.
    His poverty = my prosperity
    - he became poor so that we might become rich – Paul was referring to literal money in this context as it related to him receiving a financial offering to his ministry from the Corinthian church.
    2 Corinthians 8:9 (NLT)
    2 Corinthians 8:9 NLT
9 You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich.

Do you have victory in finances? Are you striving to be debt free? Are you chasing banks or are banks chasing you?

    Victory in Knowledge = Power

    education / learning
Knowledge is power – Bible verse
Thus, ignorance is weakness, and defeat
What you don’t know will hurt you
God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Jose 4:6.
    Lack of knowledge is ignorance
We should always be learning, both spiritually and naturally

Victory in Society - His favor

Jesus grew in favor with God and man
    Luke 2:52 (NLT)
    Luke 2:52 NLT
