Parable of the Sower demonstrated in the Bible!
Soil in reverse – from hard to shallow to weedy to fertile soil – in a matter of minutes – be ready to reap as soon as you sow! Time is running out and the Lord of the Harvest is pouring out an end time anointing of acceleration to bring in the final sheaves of souls before the rapture trumpet sounds!
The Woman at well went from arguing with Jesus to listening to Jesus to evangelizing for Jesus. In one conversation. By listening to the truth, the rocky road became fertile soil quickly and harvested the entire village the same day!

Phase 1 – Hard Hearts Produce Racist Rhetoric

    John 4:1–9 (NLT)
    John 4:1–9 NLT
1 Jesus knew the Pharisees had heard that he was baptizing and making more disciples than John 2 (though Jesus himself didn’t baptize them—his disciples did). 3 So he left Judea and returned to Galilee. 4 He had to go through Samaria on the way. 5 Eventually he came to the Samaritan village of Sychar, near the field that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Jacob’s well was there; and Jesus, tired from the long walk, sat wearily beside the well about noontime. 7 Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Please give me a drink.” 8 He was alone at the time because his disciples had gone into the village to buy some food. 9 The woman was surprised, for Jews refuse to have anything to do with Samaritans. She said to Jesus, “You are a Jew, and I am a Samaritan woman. Why are you asking me for a drink?”
    Notice the interpretation:
    · Relationship begins as Rough Road and Hard soil - Jesus asks for water – refuted based on racism (Jew) and sexism (male).
    · From the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks!
    · Hard words come from a hard heart from probably a hard life. –
o possibly cynical by being widowed – source of future was gone
o bitter from divorce – male issues – caused her to sleep with other men, single or married
    · During Jesus day, women were not treated as equal with males.
    · Furthermore, since she is out on her own, she probably had no support system of a formal husband.
    · As a result, her hard heart stirs up religious controversy.
    · Society’s problems are not racism of the mind, but circumcision of the heart.
    · This is why the seed of God’s Word must reach the inside of the heart, to produce a harvest of healing.
    · What is the answer? Sow more seed!

Phase 2 – Shallow Hearts Produce Bad Religion

    John 4:10–15 (NLT)
    John 4:10–15 NLT
10 Jesus replied, “If you only knew the gift God has for you and who you are speaking to, you would ask me, and I would give you living water.” 11 “But sir, you don’t have a rope or a bucket,” she said, “and this well is very deep. Where would you get this living water? 12 And besides, do you think you’re greater than our ancestor Jacob, who gave us this well? How can you offer better water than he and his sons and his animals enjoyed?” 13 Jesus replied, “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. 14 But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.” 15 “Please, sir,” the woman said, “give me this water! Then I’ll never be thirsty again, and I won’t have to come here to get water.”
    · Sowing more seed brings deeper revelation – of who Jesus is
    · Revelation brings a role reversal – from Jesus being viewed as the taker to the giver
    · The conversation deepens from rebuking to requesting – now the woman is asking Jesus for water
    · while the realization of the answer for her need is deeper, it is still not enough, because the woman is still thinking in natural terms and is still short of salvation.
    · What is the answer? Sow more seed!

Phase 3 – Weedy Hearts Produce Bad Relationships

    John 4:16–20 (NLT)
    John 4:16–20 NLT
16 “Go and get your husband,” Jesus told her. 17 “I don’t have a husband,” the woman replied. Jesus said, “You’re right! You don’t have a husband— 18 for you have had five husbands, and you aren’t even married to the man you’re living with now. You certainly spoke the truth!” 19 “Sir,” the woman said, “you must be a prophet. 20 So tell me, why is it that you Jews insist that Jerusalem is the only place of worship, while we Samaritans claim it is here at Mount Gerizim, where our ancestors worshiped?”

Reception of the Word is based on the Perception of the Hearer

    · By continuing to scatter seed by telling the truth, the woman’s reception of Jesus increased as her perception of Jesus became clear.
    · In her eyes, Jesus went from being a “typical” Jewish male to an esteemed prophet.
20 So tell me, why is it that you Jews insist that Jerusalem is the only place of worship, while we Samaritans claim it is here at Mount Gerizim, where our ancestors worshiped?”
    · A “deeper” understanding leads to a “deeper” conversation.
    · The conversation shifts from race to religion – from racism to religious controversy.
    · While considered a better conversation and some progress and growth is being made, she still does not fully understand who Jesus and God’s gift of salvation right in front of her.
    · How many today would like to have a private and physical conversation with Jesus Christ?
    · What is the answer? Sow more seed!

Phase 4 – Fertile Hearts Produces Salvation

    John 4:21–26 (NLT)
    John 4:21–26 NLT
21 Jesus replied, “Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans know very little about the one you worship, while we Jews know all about him, for salvation comes through the Jews. 23 But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. 24 For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” 25 The woman said, “I know the Messiah is coming—the one who is called Christ. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.” 26 Then Jesus told her, “I Am the Messiah!”
21 Jesus replied, “Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem.
22 You Samaritans know very little about the one you worship, while we Jews know all about him, for salvation comes through the Jews.

24 For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”
    · Jesus ends to dispute by – sowing more seed!
    · He paints a bigger picture by stating that the answer is neither here nor there, but global.
    · This ends the spiritual divide by putting them both on common ground.
    · People can worship in Spirit and truth anywhere in the world!
25 The woman said, “I know the Messiah is coming—the one who is called Christ. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”
26 Then Jesus told her, “I Am the Messiah!”
    · This is the ultimate “come to Jesus’ meeting!”
    · By Jesus dropping this glory bomb of seed, Her heart went from hard, to shallow to weedy to finally became fertile soil!
    · Watch the harvest begin!
    John 4:28–30 (NLT)
    John 4:28–30 NLT
28 The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, 29 “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?” 30 So the people came streaming from the village to see him.

29 “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?”
    · Illustration: During an evangelistic crusade in Ethiopia in October 2024, Daniel Kolenda reported that a woman who was healed was so excited, that she ran off the stage before finishing her testimony, so she could return home to tell her family.
30 So the people came streaming from the village to see him.

The Harvest Takes on a life form of itself!

    From sinner to saint
From home wrecker to home builder
From giving her body to 5 men to giving her heart to one man - Jesus!
she told both women and men - Were some women those who used to scorn her and some men her former lovers?
From being a social outcast to a pillar of the assembly - even as a 1st century woman!
From rumors spreading about her to her spreading the Gospel
From being the talk of the town to telling the town about Jesus
From being a sex object to a spiritual object lesson!
John 8:32 in action and parable of the Sower
    John 8:32 NLT
32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
From being told the truth to telling the truth!
The Harvest of Souls is NOW
Jesus uses this transformation as an object lesson for his co-laborers…
    John 4:35 (NLT)
    John 4:35 NLT
35 You know the saying, ‘Four months between planting and harvest.’ But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest.

    Life Lesson: spiritual harvest multiplies!

The harvest of one multiplied to many –

Supernatural SEED Grows at Supernatural SPEED

Spiritual harvest can happen immediately upon sowing – The Samaritan woman was converted with one conversation.
We need to be ready to lead someone to the Lord as soon as we begin a conversation
Expect the CONVERSION during the “CONVERSE”-ATION
in a single day – within the hour!

Supernatural SEED brings a SUPERNATURAL YIELD

    100-fold
    We heard ourselves …
    John 4:39–42 (NLT)
    John 4:39–42 NLT
39 Many Samaritans from the village believed in Jesus because the woman had said, “He told me everything I ever did!” 40 When they came out to see him, they begged him to stay in their village. So he stayed for two days, 41 long enough for many more to hear his message and believe. 42 Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not just because of what you told us, but because we have heard him ourselves. Now we know that he is indeed the Savior of the world.”

    · The harvest of one woman led to the harvest of an entire village
    · The harvest accelerates – plants its own seed! – Leads to perpetual harvest
    · In the Last days, this cycle will continue to escalate until the Sower overtakes the reaper!

Philip preached and performed miracles in Samaria – Acts 8:5-8

    Acts 8:5–8 NLT
5 Philip, for example, went to the city of Samaria and told the people there about the Messiah. 6 Crowds listened intently to Philip because they were eager to hear his message and see the miraculous signs he did. 7 Many evil spirits were cast out, screaming as they left their victims. And many who had been paralyzed or lame were healed. 8 So there was great joy in that city.

Peter and John baptized the Samaritans in the Holy Spirit – Acts 8:14-17

    Acts 8:14–17 NLT
14 When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that the people of Samaria had accepted God’s message, they sent Peter and John there. 15 As soon as they arrived, they prayed for these new believers to receive the Holy Spirit. 16 The Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them, for they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17 Then Peter and John laid their hands upon these believers, and they received the Holy Spirit.
