JOIN US TO TALK ABOUT SMALL GROUP MINISTRY THIS JUNE
Steve Gladden of The Small Group Network said, “Part of the reason I feel called to small group ministry, and why I’ve made it my life mission to build healthy small group communities where life change happens, is because I’ve seen it work. I’ve seen first-hand the work that a healthy community does in a person’s and a family’s life. It’s staggering how many issues in life become manageable when you’re surrounded by people that love you and want God’s best for you.” I’ve found this to be totally true in my life and in others’ lives as well.
You are invited to a one-time, no-commitment meeting to pray and plan for the Small Group ministry we are launching this fall at Trinity. Some may choose to come to an additional planning meeting, some may choose to become small group leaders down the road, some may already be involved through Sunday School (these are already small groups we can learn from!) or other groups, some might just come this one time to share their input. All of these are great reasons to join us!

- Sun. June 26th in the Parlor after worship, 11:45am - 1:30pm (at the latest) in-person or Zoom

WHY
The past 2 years, the Leadership Council has prayed about the next steps for our church to live into the vision of “Thriving in Christ,” and small group ministry has consistently come up. We repeatedly sensed this need from the congregation and our discussions. So, we set a goal to start 7 new small groups in 2022. We will launch this new Small Group Ministry this fall.
For all those currently involved in some sort of small group, those interested in being part of one, those interested in leading one, and those just interested in discipleship in general at Trinity, I’m inviting you to gather with us to prayerfully survey the territory: I want your help to discern the best structure and format this ministry. There are many ways to do small groups, but what does Trinity need right now and what is God calling us to? We’ll begin discerning this on June 26th and I will carry on the process of planning, recruiting, training and communicating throughout this summer so that we’re ready to launch this fall. God is leading us. Who knows the fruit, the impact, the lives changed, the souls saved in the years to come because a few decided to pursue God’s vision for the church?
