  • We are packing MCC School kits following the Worship Service. If you would like to donate money towards this expense please make a note in the memo line - "MCC school kits". We plan to have Sunday School as scheduled.


Ladies Bible study meets on Wednesdays, from 9 - 10:30 am. The new study is The Faithful . It's not too late to join, please order your book and contact the office if you have questions.


Breakfast club will begin again as a YFC outreach ministry to students at Lakers before school on Thursdays. YFC is in need of individuals to provide food for this event each week. You are invited to the Annual Meeting of the Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) Michigan Unit! Please come for a time of fellowship, hearing updates on projects that are beginning in Michigan, as well as updates from our MDS Region 2 Chair Ronald Frantz, and sharing about our volunteer experiences in various locations this past year. We look forward to seeing and hearing from you! Date: Wednesday, September 27, beginning with a noon meal, followed by the meeting. Place: Riverside Mennonite Church, 3620 Twining Rd, Au Gres, MI Note: Zoom option for the meeting beginning at 1 p.m. for those unable to attend in person.


Update on Wednesday evening: We had an exciting night of programing last week and need to make a shift in the start time for Adult Bible Study to aid our flow. Adult Bible Study in the Fellowship Hall will now be 6:45 pm - 7:30 pm. Come and see what the Lord is doing! Thank you for being flexible.


Your help is needed to set up and clean up for the potluck on Wednesday evenings. A sign-up sheet is at the Welcome Center.


Pigeon District Library is hosting an "Author Talk" featuring one of our own, Glenn Maust. You are invited, September 19th at 6 pm to hear him share stories from his book, As I Remember.


See You At the Pole is September 27th at 7:30 am. You are invited to join students to gather around the flag pole and pray at Laker High School.


Due to the recent earthquake in North Africa, we have set up a way for you to give to the relief efforts.
