Announcements

PRMC will be hosting the Stewards of Children® training on April 18 from 6:30-9:00 p.m. The free training is made available through the Child Abuse and Neglect Council and training conducted by professional trainers from Darkness and Light. Stewards of Children® is an evidence-informed, award-winning training that teaches adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. CEUs are available (free). The training is being offered as a part of PRMC’s Children and Youth Protection procedures and is open to all adults. Adults who currently or plan to serve in any capacity with our church’s children and youth programs should plan to attend (e.g., Sunday School, VBS, nursery, youth mentors, etc).

The Faithfully Fit are ending their three month journey towards better health physically, mentally, and spiritually. Even though the program ends on Monday, the things they practiced can continue long after that. Plan now to attend the ending celebration on Wednesday, April 10, at 6:00pm. Plan to bring a healthy dish to the potluck. The winners in each category will be announced before the evening classes.

Cookies, bars, snacks, and treats are needed for the college care boxes. These boxes are sent to our college-age students during their final exams. If you would like to contribute homemade or store-bought treats, please place your items on the designated table in the Fellowship Hall by Sunday morning April 7th. We hope to send 10-12 boxes. Parents, if you haven’t provided your college students’ name and address, please contact Dale Ackerman ASAP.

The Men's Breakfast at 1st UMC is this week, Wednesday, April 3rd. It is the last one until the fall. Men plan to take in this event at 7 am.

There will not be individual adult Sunday school classes next week. The Nurture committee has set aside this time, 11 am, for our Koinonia Sunday. Please join us in the Fellowship Hall around tables to fellowship and share our own stories of faith.

Please note: The Thumb Breadbasket on April 6th will take place here at Pigeon River.

Coffee orders are due next week, April 7th.

Offerings: You can mail in your donation or use our online giving portal in One Church. You can also check out how easy it is to text to give. Simply text the word “GIVE” and your amount to (833)428-2181. If you'd like to schedule direct deposit donations, contact Darrel Yoder. We appreciate your generosity and flexibility.
