PRMC will be hosting the Stewards of Children® training this week April 18 from 6:30-9:00 p.m. The free training is made available through the Child Abuse and Neglect Council and training conducted by professional trainers from Darkness and Light. Stewards of Children® is an evidence-informed, award-winning training that teaches adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. CEUs are available (free). The training is being offered as a part of PRMC’s Children and Youth Protection procedures and is open to all adults. Adults who currently or plan to serve in any capacity with our church’s children and youth programs should plan to attend (e.g., Sunday School, VBS, nursery, youth mentors, etc)Registration link


Congratulations to the 35 people who participated in the Faithfully Fit program! Everyone won by becoming more healthy physically, mentally, and spiritually. The 3R's (Restored, Renewed, Refreshed) team won the award for highest percentage of weight loss. The people who lost the highest percentage of weight in order were: Sue Swathwood, Michael Swathwood, and Matthew McIntosh. The Temples team won the Physical Activity division. The individuals with the most exercise were: Tom Kreh, Pat Anderson, and Denny Weidman. The Thumb Warriors won the competition for completing their Spiritual Goals. The eight people who completed their spiritual goals every week were: Dale Yoder, Dave Maurer, Michael Swathwood, Denny Weidman, Kim Swartzendruber, Matthew McIntosh, Sue Swathwood, and Karolyn Karl. Please continue to keep the habits you have established during these weeks. You may continue to report to Marie each week if you find accountability helpful.


Choir will not be rehearsing April 17 & 24. We will meet again on May 1.


The balcony class will meet next week to begin a new series from RightNow media, Love in Chaos, by Bob Goff c/o Rich Swartzendruber.
