Campfire & Testimonies: This Wednesday, September 10, we will have a campfire at the church with Testimonies from Ruth Osborne, Scott Kingsley and Peggy Voelker. Plan to join us for a meal @ 6 pm. Hamburgers and hot dogs are provided, please bring side or dessert & lawn chairs. Our Wednesday evening activities will resume on September 17th. Block out this valuable time in your calendar each week to connect with your church family for potluck at 6 pm, followed with bible classes for all ages & adult choir.

The fall session of Ladies Bible study will begin this week, Wednesday, September 10th @ 9 am. The book study will be Ephesians. Click on the link to get a copy of the study guide or contact Phyllis Yoder if interested.

Are you or someone you know grieving the loss of a loved one? Consider attending GriefShare. This 13-week series will be held each Tuesday until November 25. Pick up a flyer at the Welcome Center and contact Marie to register.

From Our Overseer: I feel it a privilege to be stepping into the role of overseer for Pigeon River Mennonite Church. I am looking forward to working with Pastor Dave and the leadership team as well as getting to know you as we grow in faith together. Living ten hours away does present some challenges but with zoom, our annual network meetings and a yearly personal visit, it makes this relationship possible. My wife and I look forward to meeting each of you in person.

Grace and Peace, Curtiss and Robin Kanagy

Ladies Sewing will resume this week, Wednesday, September 10th from 1:30-4:30 pm. You are invited to put in stitches or knots and join in the fellowship. Stay as long as you like.

Does the Bible feel too intimidating and complex? Does understanding it feel impossible, so you don’t even try? In this six-week study, we want to help you understand why the Bible is the greatest tool we have. We want to open your eyes to the way the Old Testament and New Testament connect and show you the purpose of each book of the Bible. Join a new evening bible study starting mid September. Contact Emily if interested & check out the content here: RightNowMedia women's study
