Today

  • Congregational Listening session in the Fellowship Hall. The topic will be the playground proposal. A message was sent out this weekend with more information. Please plan to attend this important meeting.
  • Boy's Club for boys ages 8-12, meet @ Lyle Gascho's house; 5:30 pm, 9926 Weale Rd. Bay Port.


Thumb Bread basket: The next distribution is this Saturday at Pigeon River. Please come help feed the hungry.


Eberly's Move: The Eberly's will be moving larger items from their current home into the parsonage in Elkton on Saturday, October 4th and could use some help. Contact Ruth Osborne for details.


Are you or someone you know grieving the loss of a loved one? Consider attending GriefShare. This 13-week series will be held each Tuesday until November 25. Pick up a flyer at the Welcome Center and contact Marie to register.


Starting on October 5th we will offer two new Sunday School classes. One in the balcony taught by Michael Swathwood, “Every Thought Captive: how renewing your mind can change your life”. A parenting study, Confident Parenting, taught by Dale & Debi Ackerman located in the basement. Both are Rightnowmedia studies.  


World Communion Sunday is next week. Plan to participate in this day set aside to demonstrate unity in the body of believers of Jesus Christ across denominations and locations. We will take up an additional offering for the Sharing Fund.


Laker YFC Breakfast Club: The Laker YFC breakfast club is meeting again in the high school library on Thursday mornings. They provide breakfast and a devotional for the students and have seen between 60 and 70 students each week so far. If you would be interested in providing breakfast some week, contact Will Spicer at (989)214-0077 or wspicer@btyfc.org to schedule a date.
