Sunday mornings are a time for worship and family. As such, we assume that during the worship service people of all ages will be present in the sanctuary or the fellowship room unless they are in the nursery or restroom. In a spirit of welcome, please join us in
maintaining this standard among our fellowship.
Are you or someone you know grieving the loss of a loved one? Consider attending GriefShare. This 13-week series will be held each Tuesday until November 25. Pick up a flyer at the Welcome Center and contact Marie to register.
The Cross youth group will be going to Kohl Farms for their Flashlight Corn Maze on Saturday Oct 11th. They will meet at Cross church at 6:30pm. The cost is $7/person. If interested in attending please let Pastor Dave or Nicole Shupe know by Sunday, October 5th.
Laker YFC Breakfast Club: The Laker YFC breakfast club is meeting again in the high school library on Thursday mornings. They provide breakfast and a devotional for the students and have seen between 60 and 70 students each week so far. If you would be interested in providing breakfast some week, contact Will Spicer at (989)214-0077 or wspicer@btyfc.org to schedule a date.
Pakistan Flood Relief: Emmaunel Doulat has reached out requesting assistance for flood relief in Pakistan as winter approaches. 2 million people have been affected by devastating flooding that took place from July-August. He will be traveling there in the near future. Donations may be made through Pigeon River and designated for "Pakistan Flood Relief."
The next four Sundays we will highlight missions from RI - Better Together: Missions 101- Jesus to the World. The World to Jesus.
Ways you can partner with RI:
-Pray for those who are called to serve overseas
-Pick an envelope from the wall hanging in the Fellowship hall with the amount that you are able to donate to the Missions 101 project (put in offering plate the next four Sundays.)
Donate: You can mail in your donation or use our online giving portal at One Church. You can also check out how easy it is to send a text message to give.
