LADIES CHRISTMAS TEA | All ladies ages 12 and up are invited to sign up to attend the Ladies Christmas Tea. You do not need to be invited! Or consider this your invitation. We are also looking for table hostesses. Please sign up at the back table to attend. If you plan to host, also sign up on the Hostess Sign Up sheet. The Christmas Tea will be Saturday, December 4 from 2-4 pm. The theme this year is, “A Simple Little Christmas.”

MEMBERSHIP CLASS | There will be a membership class next Sunday, October 31 at 11:30 am, following the worship service. If you would like to learn more about our church and the membership process, please join us. Let Pastor Marlin know if you plan to attend, so that materials can be prepared for you.

SPAGHETTI DINNER | Our ENGAGE Youth Group and Kids on the Rock are putting on a Spaghetti Dinner for the adults of the church on Saturday, November 6 from 5:00-8:00 pm. It will be a night of encouragement for the adults. If you would like to attend, please sign up in the back. If any 4th-12th graders would like to volunteer to help, sign up as a volunteer in the back as well. Adult guests are asked to bring a dessert to share. Contact Ella Littler, Chloe Houghton, or Christian Cersine for more information or if you have questions.

CHRISTMAS CANTATA | We will once again have a choir cantata as part of our Christmas Eve service, and we need your voices to make it happen! Rehearsals will be held after Sunday morning services beginning October 31. See Wendy Sweney to pick up your book and practice CD.

NIGHT OF WORSHIP | Please join us next Sunday night, October 31, for a Night of Worship! We will worship the Lord and fellowship together. The evening begins at 6:00 pm. Everyone is invited!

An update from Eric Bervig: The Jeremie, Haiti school opened on October 1, after their annual summer break. Val and Fredo and their school staff are operating the school with four grades again this year with enrollment at 35-40 students again. Our staff is grateful for the opportunity they have to work out their vision to run a Christian school in their local community.

We are thankful that the recent earthquake did not damage the school or affect any of our staff, students, or their families directly. Pray for the transition government as so much unrest is possible in Haiti.
