Senior Group: will meet at the Parlor House on June 15 at 11:30 for lunch. After we eat, we will go to the museum in DL George’s building at approximately 12:45. Others are welcome to meet with us and tour the museum. Please park in front at the DL George offices.
Donations Needed: Prepackaged snacks and drinks for Blue Rock Kidz. Examples—mini drinks and/or waters, apple juice boxes, Gatorades. Please mark Blue Rock Kidz and drop in front office.
Blue Rock Kidz will be cancelled Wednesday June 16th, 2021.
Good News: We will resume Wednesday June 23rd, 2021 at 6:00pm-7:30pm. We will also play some water games on that Wednesday if weather permits. Please prepare your child and yourself for this. They are allowed to change clothes at the church if needed.

Faith is a Journey- Part 5

On the Sabbath they entered the synagogue and sat down. After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the leaders of the synagogue sent word to them, saying, “Brothers, if you have a word of exhortation for the people, please speak.” Acts 13:13-14

The God of the people of Israel chose our ancestors; he made the people prosper during their stay in Egypt; with mighty power he led them out of that country; for about forty years he endured their conduct in the wilderness; and he overthrew seven nations in Canaan, giving their land to his people as their inheritance. All this took about 450 years. “After this, God gave them judges until the time of Samuel the prophet. Then the people asked for a king, and he gave them Saul son of Kish, of the tribe of Benjamin, who ruled forty years. After removing Saul, he made David their king. Acts 17-22a

2. Seek out times to talk about your faith. Be creative on how you begin conversations with others. Respect others and meet the person where they are.
3. Sharing our faith is also our mission. Do your best to know what you are talking about. Learn. Do you choose to accept it?
